Came out great 👍 I love croc skinks and have a bunch my adult pair keeps having babies every month or two. I’ll be doing another paludarium build as well for another pair. Well I hope you have a great day bud 🙋♂️✌️
@@pedropacheco5729 at the moment I’m not because during the summer months my croc skinks don’t breed. The temps get alil to high for them so I always get more babies during fall and winter. The babies I have now are spoken for. I’m also moving out of NY at the moment so everything is hectic at the moment but will be settled in to a bigger place very soon and will be expanding all my breeding projects. So if your interested and willing to wait until spring I’ll make sure you have first pic on the next babies. This will give you time to set up a nice enclosure and have the plants and isopods/springtails establish nicely. And I base my prices on how their future homes are so the better the enclosure the cheaper the croc skinks will be. So if that’s something your interested in let me know and look forward to hearing back. I hope you have a great day 🙋♂️✌️
Hi, in this build the cork divider allowed water to pass underneath so the pump that was fitted beneath the soil circulated the water back to the front again
Thanks for the video. How is the cork bark barrier holding up? I tried something similar in the past, but no matter what I did, the water from the 'aquarium' part leaked into the substrate in the 'jungle' part and I ended up having to use glass and just cover with cork etc.
Hello! I have got a problem with my gracilis. He don't eats since 2-3 weeks after sheding. I try every day, but not. In the terrarium is 22 Celsius, the humidity is 80%. He is active, but I'am fustrated. He is 1,5 years old. He goes dorment or what is the problem? Please help! Thank you!
Hello, first of all try to not panic and feed everyday, if your Skink in nervous (which most are) then that won't help. They can go without food for a while so that's nothing to worry about. Have you tried different foods or leaving something like waxworms or a couple of mealworms in a dish in the terrarium?
Amazing work m8
Thanks!

Awesome video mate enclosure looks great
Thanks mate!
What pump did you use? It’s seems very good!
I have no idea! It's definitely not a well know branded one.
How did you work out the other half of the water pump? Like, how does the filter system take in water from the front of the enclosure?
Hi, in this build the cork divider allowed water to pass underneath so the pump that was fitted beneath the soil circulated the water back to the front again
Great build video yet again sir, i will using some of these tips and features in the future. Keep up the good work and informative content.
Thanks mate!
Great video! May I ask how you got the water flowing/ what you used pipe wise?
Thanks! So for the waterfall I used an old aquarium filter pump which I then got some clear PVC pipe that fitted tightly over the outlet.
does your croc skink climb up the hide wall at all?
Yeah he uses all the background and soil areas
@@norwichreptileshed that's awesome

Glad you liked it! The cork does become a bit of a sponge which soaks the soil but I didn't plant any plants close to the barrier for that reason.
New subscriber ! I just got me one

@@norwichreptileshed yes, I try every day feeding him with different worms. In his terrarium is two dishes with two type of worms(wax and meal).
Where did you buy the long wood part to separate the soil and water?
That's a cork background panel that I cut to size. I think it's made by lucky reptile
