Thanks so much! Honestly, I’ve been experimenting back and forth and this works very well + it’s much easier to maintain. I think it’s a necessary compromise. If I only had one pair of crocodile skinks I’d probably do a huge Paludarium but that’s not the case so I think it’s important to mix ease of care + efficiency while trying to still have beautiful, naturalistic vivrais that helps the animals feel secure and at home!

I've been raising up a few pairs of garters, four pairs . I think those would be so nice for a pair . 2x2 is about perfect and the height is nice they like to climb and purch up on branches or cork. I've had them in a big community tank but it's about time to get them in separate enclosure for breeding . It is nice to have a clean looking setup so it looks nice in the room . I enjoy watching your videos because of the good information and the excellent care you take of all your animals. Love the green tree monitors so amazing! I couldn't get one so I got some emerald tree skinks . Like all your videos keep it up.

I'm gonna use the drylock method. I knew it would be expensive but I never thought it would be THAT expensive! It's due in large part to your channel, yours and Mike's and Troy's. Awesome video! Congrats on the new tanks, they look nice. I will admit though, I prefer the old ones. Seems like more cover compared to the new tanks, though I suppose that the plants need to grow in. Have a good one !

Thank you so much! Those tanks aren’t going anywhere for now! Many skink families are staying in them! Im confident that when these leaps grow in you’ll hopefully enjoy how they look as well ☺️! Fingers crossed that process goes well!

Love your video's man, your enthusiasm is contagious haha! And love these skinks! Planning on picking up a pair of these up in a few months. I plan on starting a few breeding projects next spring. I'm going to breed some aquarium fish and hopefully my crested gecko! Might also try my hand at breeding these skinks, who knows.

I watch a lot of shorts nowadays, I enjoy yours immensely but if it’s too much I’m happy to just have videos
There sure isn’t the pothos coverage in the new setups, you said there’s enough hiding areas though. but I bet the front opening will help with the prey instincts of being caught from above
QOTD: I think a dart frog rack would be fun, or different tree frog species. I adore amphibians.

Easy lol as I am already in the works on making something like your setup for tree skinks. Working on the fourth tank. Have one for the emerald Tree Skink. Black tree skink and the olive tree skink. I really need to get a pair of red eyes. They are so amazing and those little noises they do 😆

Your enclosures are set up so beautiful and your Skink's are doing great. I love watching this project bloom. If I have a leap habitat like that I would put my crested geckos in them. I looks like it would give them plenty of room and would still allow me to see them more and watch them.

Hey I just had an idea for a filtration system that would hold up and not require much attention and I’m not saying it’s a super practical idea because it will take up a good amount of space but something I might consider for myself Someday if I ever get some of these beautiful skinks! so my ideas was a circulating sump tank with a sponge filter and substrate ps Congratulations on your success. I love your content. Thank you.

Hi Brian! Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! Perhaps I’m not in vision ing it the same way as you but I feel like that might be a little complicated for all these tanks + I have to slide them around a lot to reach all of them which isn’t practical… Thank you so much for your support!

Hi there! Love all the videos and watching your mini dragon project has been amazing to follow while I raise my own. Might I suggest taking the egg out of the container - mine move their eggs depending on what it needs from a humidity perspective and I imagine it’ll be hard for her to move it out of the deli cup if she wants to. It’s really amazing how much they care for their eggs/young! Congrats on such a successful project 😊

Thank you so much for the suggestion Stephany! I had considered that but got worried about the juveniles rummaging around too much. Perhaps I’ll check on the egg in the morning and make the call about removing the container. Many thanks 🙏🏼☺️

Been loving your RECS videos, they're so informative! I was wondering would you recommend a bioactive glass enclosure, like your paludarium, or a plastic tub for the long term? Don't really know how hard it actually is to maintain humidity levels and keep up with the cleaning process.

WOW congratulations!!! These are stunning! I live in Ontario Canada. I'm pretty sure you too are Canadian, eh? Would you ever sell a crocodile skink?
As for your question of the day, I would need 2 racks to answer the question fully. The 1st rack would be to rehouse the 6 bearded dragons that I already own. You see, I'm a disabled person and enclosures like that would make my life so much easier! The second rack, I would buy a crocodile skink from you, a gargoyle gecko ive been eyeing at my local reptile store, as well as adopt and foster more bearded dragons from my local reptile rescue! I have a knack with special needs beardies and have helped them out in the past. They are also getting pretty crowded, so, I would love to help them out.
Does the company that you talked about make enclosures big enough for adult beardies? I do warn you, one of my beardies is part German Giant and is 18 inches from snout to tail!
    Thanks and praise!
