    it's a shame these now go for $60+, think I'm going to get one since my dual exhaust cherry bomb extreme on my 95 5.2 v8 dodge ram is kinda too loud lol. Torn between this and a magnaflow glasspack for a cheap-ish option, there's little to no videos of 2nd gen 5.2 dodge rams with the magnaflow brand glasspack or even these rumble mufflers but they're supposedly considered way better quality than the thrush and cherry bombs. My cherry bomb extreme was only like $30something years ago in 2017 but even without that many miles at all on it the paint is chipped and bubbling and I think I saw a little rust here and there. Kinda sorta don't wanna spend a ton, and am pretty overwhelmed at the TON of magnaflow options, they have glasspacks, 2 chamber mufflers, racing straight through performance style stuff...

    Better now than how it was.. try running a consistent bead instead of sap welding. It's faster and better penetration.. just my two cents

    • @SniderTron3000
      @SniderTron3000  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I worked at a welding shop for a hot minute and they kinda instilled in me that on thin-ish stuff like this to do "tack-beads" like that. And, it's just stuck with me. I don't think there's much of a speed difference, but I feel like I have more control of the heat with this because I can burn it hotter than a normal bead and not burn through, and then lay them over each other like that. But, I'm sure there's pros and cons to each method. This just works for me

    • @briteRedaz16
      @briteRedaz16 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SniderTron 3000 I hear what your saying an it makes sense. especially working with thin wall exhaust pipe.. I'm used to welding on thicker steel and stainless. Hydraulics tanks.. stuff with high pressure and the less stops and go's the better.. either way keep up the good work. Hope no offense was taken and have a blessed day.

    Question? Is it legal to have the pipes shooting down under the truck.! Because in the inspection station they cannot stick the rod up for emissions they do not like getting under the truck or on your knees like I say I would have went out to side by the rear wheel and I would have put 12 in Walker glasspacks that's loud but badass sound

    • @SniderTron3000

    Put some new 2.5" tailpipes on it with some 3.5" tips. It'll get rid of that hollow sound that chambered mufflers are known for when you don't use tailpipes. Ask me how I know, it'll sound deeper and better.

    • @SniderTron3000
      @SniderTron3000  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on who you ask. I think to a point, back pressure doesn't matter. It's more about exhaust scavenging. But, I do think you can go too far with a free flowing exhaust. Like putting 2 inch zoomies on a stock 305 lol
