These muffler tests avoid doing one major component of a muffler. Along with the noise, back pressure is a horsepower snitch. It requires a pressure gauge that can measure at least 20# and a port to thread in or somehow connect the gauge and an O2 port is ideal for every vehicle with a Cat. has a sensor port somewhere in fromt of the muffler. Best to use the B location instead of in front of the converter which will exclude flow through the cat. The higher the back pressure, the less horsepower your engine will produce. Combine that with a decibel meter and the tests will have meaning and a way to categorize them. CEL? it will go out so nothing is harmed.

While I appreciate hearing the difference. Just an FYI. Magnaflow are all straight through and there is no power difference between any of them. Best video on any brand all around... But especially for Magnaflow... Wish more were like this... Going 24" for my GMC... Thank you!!!!!
I love a man playing with his stainless steel hardware and mufflers.
"An exhausted list", well played .
Dynomax, Flowmaster and Black Widow Please 😁
What about different brands? I liked your video, and it did help me with deciding what kind of mufflers I should buy.
Love your videos , this is really helpful an awesome ! If you could please do one for Tacoma V6 Engine , 2016 thru 2022 .
Thanks and have a Blessed Day guys !
Thank you for taking your time👍👊 is the 12289 with the factory resonator?
Try to keep the same engine if you can with all of them.
They were all in the same family of engine? LT and LS engines are almost the exact same.
@@lio.motofab yeah but when listening to exhaust you want the same consistency
Excellent video brother, excellent explanation.
I have a question.
How long do these silencers last???
There are many cars and trucks that release a lot of moisture from the exhaust.
I love this I feel theses videos help a lot gives everyone a good idea for sure amazing job as always guys
I enjoyed this very much, Please for all your brands of mufflers, Resonators, piping and tips you that you guys carry please cover all of it! I think we all would like that!
I have the final one on my 97 Yukon and it is the perfect sound
Great Video! What would happen if you mixed a resonator with the MF 11375 or 12198? Im imagine it would give you a smoother sound, slightly less decibel, but the advantage of way less drone?
I love the 14-in
5x8x18 best with motors running cat converters
5x11x22 best with long tube headers not cats. Best sound in my opinion
Thanks for the very informative video!
And the Magnaflows are still made in the USA. 👍
Unlike the Flowmasters which are now made in China! 👎
Great video. Do you ever install Magnaflow 11236 muffler?
Definitely like the Magnapack the best
could you do a similar video with the flowmaster brand?
Magnflow the golden standard for flow and noise control, they sound super smooth and deep, any cheap brand can make your tone loud and stupid 😅
Great comparison. What was the rest of the setup on the cars? We’re the examples with stock resonators, x pipe, or straight pipe?
Id like to see Borla or Black Widow next.
Please!!! More videos like this! Awesome video! I'd like to hear other brands of mufflers.
I love Magnaflows but I would say if you want more sound go with Corsa or Spintech. I have a 14" Magnaflow on my 13 Ram 1500 it's just too quiet even with a resonator delete. So I'm about to get an X-pipe and Corsa Pro-series mufflers. Maybe equal length with long tubes.
Great comparison video! I would like to get your input on the difference between single in / single out vs single in / dual out (one being louder than the other, more rasp, or loss of low end torque, ect). Just an idea for future video.
This was really great. Now time for a Flowmaster showcase
Flowmasters will rot
Hi guys. I bought the 18 inch but not two inn/out , I`v got the center to off center version . Will that one be louder than the one you tested? U know, one in and two out/ vice versa.
Thanks for answering !!!!!!!! Oh one more question....will an end pipe bigger than the exhaust pipe make more sound? I mean bad or cracking or,U know just different !???👍👍
Great job U guys doin`!
It won’t be as loud. But it will still sound good. Also the bigger the exhaust tip the deeper the sound
@@exhaustaddicts thank you
I have a 2.4t Subaru outback with dual exhaust. Mufflers just behind the bumper. What muffler would you recommend for a nice daily not overbearing sound? I also want to have quad tips like the old WRX hatchbacks.
yeah lets see what you have for flowmasters
I'm currently running a single 3 inch system with a 22 inch on my 08 ram 1500 4.7l and love it for how quiet it is. I've ran many system to include straights but this current system is by far my favorite. If it was more a a occasional joy vehicle it would be 2.5 inch true dual magnapacks dumped behind the rear tires.
3rd you gotta do Flowmaster next
No
Yes
Flowmaster is the big d.ick sound of mufflers. I prefer Flowmaster.
@@RollingInMy5pt0
Lol, not even close. Old technology and flow stinks.
Flowmaster made in China.
Could you please do a comparison of the black widow line up!
I must be getting old because I really liked the 22" if you're putting it on a daily driver.
Great video. I have a 2020 Ram 1500 and would like to go with the 22" using stock tailpipes and resonators. What part number would you recommend?
Can you do a video on any flow master mufflers if you can great video thou 👍🏾
Was very helpful and informative. Great video thanks for sharing it.👍😃
For the 10416 will it fit a 2015 Silverado 5.3 by any chance I’m still doing some research and it says the 14419 will only fit on it
I have a 6in MagnaFlow Race Series on my 2022 Power Wagon. It tickles my pickle.
I saw the magnaflow overland system, but it doesn't have a resonator, Is the muffler of this exhaust system the same as that of a single 18-inch? I want to buy a separate 18-inch muffler, but do I need to cut out the resonator, or keep the resonator? The 18 inch muffler GMC truck did cut out resonter or no ? Thanks!
Which one give you more hp and less loud noise I don’t want a fix it ticket
magnaflow also used to carry their 'race' line which are 6" body mufflers similar to the vibrants. Had them and they screamed
Suggestion: When you do the interior sound on your videos it would be helpful if you showed a sound meter display to show the decibels.
Thanks
Great video! I have an 01 Dakota Sport with the 3.9L V and it's had the Flowmaster Super 40 Delta Flow on it for forever. Getting older, just too loud in the cab. Would you suggest the Flowmaster Super 50 or something Mangaflow? The MF sounds great.
Thank you! This was a very helpful video.
More of these please really enjoyed it
This is awesome thank you for doing this lineup comparison
While I appreciate hearing the difference. Just an FYI. Magnaflow are all straight through and there is no power difference between any of them. (I haven't looked into their cheaper line)
Look up engine masters. The real difference in mufflers is, (straight, perforated), chambered, or "turbo".
That was in order of power gains/ losses.
hey man, I currently have a revel catback system on my gs350 2010 lexus, and it’s definitely a upgrade from the stock exhuast system but I want it to be a little louder, I was thinking of swapping the mufflers from the catback system with some magnaflow 4in round (10416). Any thoughts?
Yes more videos like this !!!
Thanks for the video, quick question, which of these muffler you’d recommend for a 1993 Honda Accord SE 2 door. Thank you.
The magnaflow maganpack
I have a dual in dual out, no cat set up. Will adding resonators tone down the drone or should I go with a borla.
What would work best 2.4 4 cylinder but don't want to turn the noise
Have you all installed a MF direct fit muffler on a Ram 1500? Not many videos on that and I am curious how it sounds.
Enjoyed the presentation please do more of these!👍👍
Excellent Video ! Thank You 🍻
Hi guys. Here in Norway we have a problem!! What is written in papers is law!!!!! For me it means
87 dB on my 2008 Tahoe 5.3 l 😥😥😥.How the truck is imported so does the government registrate it,thats it! So I need a muffler wich has a deep tone and do not go over 94 dB without (BangBang) just swapp it against the original "coffin" !! I can not do more, it will be to loud !
Thanks for helping me out🥲🤘🤘
Great job guys, I enjoy the Chanel very much.
