Richard Devon was always a solid reliable actor who should be more talked about. Was in so many TV shows in the late 50s and early 60s, especially westerns.
Classic Corman. In Space! United Nations alien intrigue. Overly dramatic musical score. Featuring Corman regulars, in a 50s sci-fi lounge chair outfitted spaceship. Gene Roddenbury definitely saw this movie. You'll love it.
IN the documentary "That Guy Dick Miller", Miller said that they had only two or three walls, and they rearranged them in certain ways to "change sets". Something very "Star Trek" about this.
Corman made a lot of entertaining science fiction and monster movies , plus the horror writers movies like poe and Lovecraft . From the 1950s, 1953s phantom ( I forget) or monster from the ocean floor to the 1980s I believe with Frankenstein unbound. I think Corman is the longest horror filmmaker in movie history.
11:20 ++ 😢 can't remember which series of books I read 55y ago (+/-), had illustrations of rockets so very similar to these shown. I'd have read them in the mid-60s, but could have been published any decade from the 1930s forward. It wouldnt be the original Tom Swift, nor the later Tom Swift versions. 😅😅 going to bug me for a wee bit. 🎉🎉
16:06 😂😂😂 ... Dave(?) tilts face down and looks up at the doctor, in a mannerism similar to republic party candidate Vivek Ramaswamy ~ with a resemblance!🎉🎉 48:03 ÷ "Damn it, Jim, I'm a Doctor, not a Warp Drive engineer!"
10:50 whenever they show a headline, just for the heck of it i like to read the articles, Here they start with a huge, bold headline all capital letters " SIGMA PROGRAM GIVEN OKAY!" and i guess the story is below the fold, above the fold you got, " The farmers market story" , "Mayor of Hollywood on hand to welcome distinguished visitor " and "The Gilmore story? I would have read into that story as well but i can't make it out, But the 2nd headline is a doozy, After the scientist declare it a hoax you got the Dutch urging a protest of Nato, the U.S. SPEEDING Ballistic Arms to Briton and Indonnesian workers seizing Dutch banks , Indonesian workers robbed the Dutch banks and the Dutch are urging nato to protest? , forget Nato, call the cops. On top of that throw in Grouchy neighbors from Mars who get upset if you step on their lawn and the Earthlings could be in big trouble.!
Susan Cabot was so underrated, a reliable actress, and one of great beauty. One of my all-time favorites.
❤1933 King Kong.
There's really no comparison for me. The original is an American classic. Peter Jackson's is a bloated, melodramatic mess.
Solid actress no doubt. Sadly met a very tragic end.
Susan started at universal, looking very beautiful in 1953s Gunsmoke, a western in technicolor, with A, Murphy.
I thought that Susan would have been a good Lois lane in the Superman tv show. She has that Lois look.
@@randyacuna5643 You're right, I never thought of that.
I saw these films at the flicks in the 1950s and 60s. They seem so quaint these days when compared to all the modern CGI offerings. I love them.
Yet they had story, not like the tormentedly twisted to conform to political correctness of our times
RIP RC. Thanks for this and of all the others.
Just when you think you've seen every Roger Cormen movie, you're treated with an outer space gem! There is no limits he won't go!😅
Shame on Roger Corman who ripped off Star Wars (1977) to make this 1958 movie.
Enjoyable movie. Always good to see Dick Miller. Thanks for posting.
So wonderfully cheesy!!! Love it. This era of sci-fi is cinematic gold. The scientific naïveté is priceless, just enough jargon to appear legit!!!

It would be great if you put Forbidden planet here

I liked this classic film from the 50s

🙂 In the opening scene you may remember that big guy saying "Why do we watch".....well he was Dave in Attack of the Giant Leeches.
IN the documentary "That Guy Dick Miller", Miller said that they had only two or three walls, and they rearranged them in certain ways to "change sets".
Something very "Star Trek" about this.
Hey, it's the "Space Angel" theme music! ;-)
I enjoyed this ! I like where they pull on the indestructible missile and it breaks ! 6:18
Me encantan estas películas, gracias por subirlas
Incredible! Loved it. Thanks CCC!
1:35 we must be careful to not take things for granted, that's a flat screen which probably WOW'D audiences back then .
I remember the flat-screen hd color TV of Queen of Outer Space (1958)
28:00 Look at those bumpers, a steampunk artist dream!
Bună dimoneata și mulțumesc frumos pt filmele care sunt traduse în Limba Română...vă doresc un an cu realizări...etc. ❤
32:32 WOW! those are nice chairs!
loves these movies from the b&w era. some have ruined this experience by colourising (badly) them! Nice to see this one in original form. 😎
Hola. Me he perdido algunas películas... Podrías activar los subtítulos en español para disfrutarlas? Gracias.

One of his masterpieces "Ghost Town"1988
Really enjoyed this thanks! 👍
When Dick Miller gets top billing you know its goin to be a long hour and a half I think he went to the Peter Graves acting school of gavones.
Tom: "Win, Lose or Draw" is called "Win, Lose and Draw Oxygen.😅
superbe !!!
Seems like Dick Miller was in pretty much all of Roger Corman’s early movies
👽👽👾👾👾👾👽👽🤩🤩🤩🤩
34:32 same torch the guy burned his hand on.

34:10 "I didn't get a round trip ticket" foreshadowing ?
Hilarious film without intending to be so.
To think: dick miller acted in horror into the 80s. 9:15 he looks really young in the year of the dog
13:51 is that a model of the u.n. building ?

disclosure, i like it, just go to the U.N. and blab about it .
IMDB rated >>>5.1 .. figures..
Roger Corman ripped off
the 1977 Star Wars
to make his
1958 War of the Satellites
Shame on him for cheating by way of a Time Machine !
seen this movie not much of a show
