Several years ago, notorious gangster Frank Buchanan was deported to Italy after being betrayed by law enforcement and rival criminals. While in Europe, Buchanan encounters a brilliant but twisted scientist, Wilhelm Steigg, who has perfected a method of reanimating the dead and controlling them with spoken commands. Seizing this opportunity, Buchanan funds Steigg's experiments, turning the resurrected corpses into tools of vengeance against those who wronged him. However, the process leaves behind traces of radioactive poisoning, allowing authorities to use Geiger counters to close in on the deadly scheme.

This movie desperately needed and deserved the MST3K treatment!
The concept may be laughable, but the dialogue and acting really doesn't suck badly.
Looks like the best we'll get is occasional airings on Svengoolie.
(Not that I'm disdainful of its MST worthiness - I've got the Arrow Cold War Creatures box set, and any of those four movies are riff-worthy.)

Richard Denning is excellent in horror pictures. And he did alot of them. For a low budget movie they had alot of different actors. Should of been called Creatures with Atom brains. And what's a atom brain. All brains are made of millions of atoms. Denning helped this picture immensely. 😊😊

To keep the budget low, like many "B" directors of the period, Edward L. Cahn chose to shoot the film with as few breaks and edits as possible, resulting in the characters constantly standing, sitting and pacing to avoid the tedium of talking-head shots. Even when characters move from room to room, there are very few cuts.
Great movie for a bit of back row necking.
Decent film
curt siodmak was obsessed with various forms of brain transplantation.
The $19,821.00 taken in by the first victim's business in one night would be the equivalent of about $220,000.00 in the year 2022.
Every automobile in this movie (except for a few in the background and military vehicles) is either a Ford or a Mercury. Obviously Ford Motor Co. supplied the cars.
