We look back over the Reboot's 16 year history and wonder what would have happened if the previously announced actors and director's had taken the helm.
The Kurgan’s going to be some big shoes to fill. The best Kurgan-a-like from recent times, I’ve seen, is the Magnar-of-Thenn, GOT, S 4, ep 9. ‘The watchers on the Wall’.
the makers of the series do not have to reboot they can make the show showing other immortals not just the hero character...they could show a person trying to live as a new immortal and figure out how he/she can not die...or a very old immortal that is tired of life....or other immortals that do not fight always on the run to avoid fighting...so on....
Hoping like all f00k that the Ana De Aramas rumor is true but by the gods who might merely be having a bit of fun do *NOT* cast her as Heather or Brenda! *Cast her as one of the Immortals!* She has the fight scene choreography experience now. She's going to be in the John Wick spin off movie Ballerina that's coming out next year! Do not waste her potential on one of those other casting possibilities!!!
its been long haul. but 2 be honest...its been worth it. Henry Cavill is the RIGHT guy and Chad Stehlaski are the right team. all we need is the RIGHT budget and right cast and it will work. Enough time has passed since The Source. I didn't like the other prospects and other writers & directors to be honest.
I'm sorry guys, but after 16 years of this crap(and knowing the history of the franchise, the tendency of Davis/Panzer to jump the gun, the overall uncertainty of the widespread rights to the franchise and certain specific aspects of it, my own dealings with TPTB over the last 30 years, and the ongoing "we're closer than we've ever been" false starts on this project), I have absolutely *_NO_* faith in seeing this remake actually get made before 2030. Unless they actually offer up some evidence of a finalized script, a secured budget, a filming schedule, and on-set production shots(to prove that they actually _have_ started filming), it's *_ALL_* clickbait to me🤷♂️
