- This is my jihad (struggle) against ignorance. It's really sad to see such a vocal minority who have nothing better to do with their time than to attack Islam and Muhammad pbuh - it would be nice if they actually read the Quran or his biography, with an actual Islamic scholar, before jumping in front of a camera and forcing us to prove how ignorant they are.
But since there is no winning with the ignorant as they have no desire to know the truth - this response is more so an educational and informative insight into many of Islam's misconceptions for the vast majority of people - who are actually open to learn.
PS - we don't say peace be upon him as a desperate attempt to beautify him - for our words can never beautify him the way he deserves - rather our words become beautiful when we mention his name.

IN NO WAY whatsoever is this video suggesting that Muslims are perfect. We acknowledge BAD things happen on both ends of the equation.
However when someone wants to criticise Islam and Muhammad (pbuh) - who are the embodiments of peace and mercy in a merciless world - we will stand up.
Islam is perfect - Muslims aren't.
Islam offers the path to peace - Muslims should follow it.

I converted to Islam from the Christian Orthodox religion almost ten years ago. While i always identified as Muslim, i was slowly leaving religion and the deity concept at all and becoming an agnostic (an angry agnostic at that). A friend sent me one of your videos- i am happy to say i am back to believing in God and so proud to see the truth and claim that I am indeed a Muslim. Thank you for this!
As a Christian I always wondered why we believed in the trinity so blindly when there wasn't a word of it in the Bible. and why Jesus always said to worship God and never himself. How the new testament was written 100-200 years after Jesus died and was filled with contradictions, one being how swine was forbidden food at first and in the new testament it was allowed to be eaten. I gave up on my religion, i always knew about Islam having muslim friends and all but had my doubts on its main issues such as apostasy, Muhammads marriage, and jihad among others. After watching this video and doing countless hours of research Im just in tears. Im ready to convert to Islam. It has answered all my doubts. Thank You Lebo, your videos are more than just responses.

Assalamu Alaikum. The girl Jaclyn to whom this video was responded was criticized pretty harshly with comments. She was called a "whore" / "slut" and words that can emotionally damage a girl. What if someone said that to our sisters or mothers? I think it's awesome we're defending Islam and this video is an excellent example of it but we as fans / supporters of this channel might be too harsh when people criticize our religion. I'll never know what's inside a person's heart, but there is PROOF that Allah has changed the hearts of 'Islamophobes' even during the Prophet (SAW)'s time. I am an atheist. I must say that this video has informed me a great deal on the matters of this religion. The only issue I take with this video is the condescension of atheism, I don't believe in a god, or a creator if you will, but this does not mean I have no morality, and by no means is my morality subjective. Humans are evolved enough to know right from wrong without being told by a holy book. With these comments I ensure you I mean no offence to your religion and welcome any response.

Regarding apostasy: Apostasy is mentioned in the Qur'an in 2.109, 2.143, 2.217, 3.72, 3.77, 3.80, 3.82, 3.86, 3.90, 3.100, 3.106, 3.144, 3.149, 3.177, 3.187, 4.81, 4.137, 5.54, 49.15, 63.3. Not once is death penalty, let alone *any kind of penalty,* mentioned.

I unsubscribed from Jaclyn a few months ago. She used to be religious and peaceful. She may not have agreed with everything people say, but she went about it in a respectful, kind manner. Nowadays, all she does is slam everyone and everybody for just about anything. She's atheist (where I am not), but I don't mind. What I DO mind is the fact that she is becoming a complete...b-word. So yeah, I'm not even going to debate on that unless you can bring me proof that this is false form a source that is equally well founded.
Moreover, the reason evolution was brought up here is because as much as you atheists claim to be realistic and practical you choose to believe in something that CANNOT be observed, tested or experimented today. Is there any observable and testable evidence today that a species of an animal can change into a totally different species? Something I don’t have to accept by “faith” i.e. believe in tales that date back to hundreds and millions of years ago told by some old dead guy and are encouraged by your atheist leaders? Your leaders claim that evolution is such a slow process that it *cannot* be measured over time, nor can it be observed lol Yet atheist believe in this unseen “phenomenon” and have such a huge issue when people believe in God who is also unseen.
As much as you’d like to deny it my friend, you are just as dependent on “faith” and "trust" when it comes to your beliefs. Anything your leaders say is the ultimate truth to you. Not very different from following a religion is it now? Oh wait, it is! Religions actually have a solid objective code of morality which will never change. THE REASONS WHY THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PEACE AND BLESSINGS OF ALLAH BE UPON HIM) MARRIED 'AISHA (MAY ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH HER) DESPITE THE AGE DIFFERENCE?
Praise be to ALLAH.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married ‘Aisha (may Allaah be pleased with her) after he married Sawdah bint Zam’ah (may Allaah be pleased with her). She - ‘'Aisha- was the only virgin whom he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married. And he consummated the marriage with her when she was nine years old.
Among her virtues was the fact that the Revelation did not descend when he under one cover with any of his wives other than her. She was one of the dearest of all people to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and news of her innocence was revealed from above the seven heavens. She was one of the most knowledgeable of his wives, and one of the most knowledgeable women of the ummah as a whole. The senior companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to refer to her opinion and consult her.
With regard to the story of her marriage, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had grieved over the death of the Mother of the Believers Khadeejah, who had supported him and stood by his side, and he called the year in which she died The Year of Sorrow. Then he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married Sawdah, who was an older woman and was not very beautiful; rather he married her to console her after her husband had died and she stayed among mushrik people. Four years later the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married ‘Aisha (may Allaah be pleased with her), and he was over fifty. Perhaps the reasons for the marriage were as follows:
1 - He saw a dream about marrying her. It is proven in al-Bukhaari from the hadeeth of ‘Aisha (may Allaah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to her: “You were shown to me twice in a dream. I saw that you were wrapped in a piece of silk, and it was said, ‘This is your wife.’ I uncovered her and saw that it was you. I said, ‘If this is from Allaah then it will come to pass.’” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 3682). As to whether this is a prophetic vision as it appears to be, or a regular dream that may be subject to interpretation, there was a difference of opinion among the scholars, as mentioned by al-Haafiz in Fath al-Baari, 9/181.
2 - The characteristics of intelligence and smartness that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had noticed in ‘Aisha even as a small child, so he wanted to marry her so that she would be more able than others to transmit reports of what he did and said. In fact, as stated above, she was a reference point for the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them) with regard to their affairs and rulings.
3 - The love of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for her father Abu Bakr (may Allaah be pleased with him), and the persecution that Abu Bakr (may Allaah be pleased with him) had suffered for the sake of the call of truth, which he bore with patience. He was the strongest of people in faith and the most sincere in certain faith, after the Prophets.
It may be noted that among his wives were those who were young and old, the daughter of his sworn enemy, the daughter of his closest friend. One of them occupied herself with raising orphans, another distinguished herself from others by fasting and praying qiyaam a great deal… They represented all kinds of people, through whom the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was able to set out a way for the Muslims showing how to deal properly with all kinds of people. [See al-Seerah al-Nabawiyyah fi Daw’ al-Masaadir al-Asliyyah, p. 711].
With regard to the issue of her being young and your being confused about that, you should note that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) grew up in a hot country, the Arabian Peninsula. Usually in hot countries adolescence comes early and people marry early. This is how the people of Arabia were until recently. Moreover, women vary greatly in their development and their physical readiness for marriage.
If you think - may Allaah guide you - that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not marry any virgin other than ‘Aisha (may Allaah be pleased with her), and that all his other wives had been previously married, this will refute the notion spread by many hostile sources, that the basic motive behind the Prophet’s marriages was physical desire and enjoyment of women, because if that was his intention he would have chosen only those who were virgins and beautiful etc.
Such slanders against the Prophet of Mercy (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) by kaafirs and others of their ilk, are indicative of their inability to find fault with the law and religion that he brought from Allaah, so they try to find ways to criticize Islam with regard to issues that are not related to sharee’ah.
And Allaah is the Source of strength. May Allaah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.

so now where is he , the enemy of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) now?. even the enemies of Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) now, they don't know his/their names.

Islam , Qur'an , Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) are mercy to mankind.
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “Verily, ALLAH raises some people in rank with this Book, and puts down others.
Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. Indeed, We are sufficient for you [O Muhammad] against the mockers (Qur'an 15:94,95)

Salaam brother, just wanted to ask for some advice please. My friend was saying to me that she's feeling more and more disconnected with Islam because she doesn't see the point of having a religion.. She was saying that if there's bad in the world then it's because it was first placed there by Allah and if Allah had made everything good and didn't place the tree with the bad apple for Eve to be tempted by then the world would have been a better place.. I don't really know how to reply to that. All I said was that evil in this world was created by satan but I don't know what else to say, please help me. I want to make her understand and help her find guidance from Allah
