I don't think we should call the atheist arrogant. Look how he was open to a conversation!
He delayed his food and comfort to discuss this!
99% of people would walk past the Imam and just think that he's dumb. People like this atheist push for the truth through their discussions!
Saying this as a sincere Muslim

It’s kinda sad seeing how many comments there are going off at this guy. He had the option to not engage in this conversation and he could have chosen to dissociate himself from this conversation at any point, yet he was patient enough to stay till the end.
Also, what if he was having a bad day and so his words ended up being more emotionally charged.
Like Imam Sb said, at the end of the day, people should feel comfortable engaging in these discussions and know that they are respectful and not offensive.
While I strongly disagree with this brother’s opinions, that still doesn’t give me the right to go off at him. Let’s be kind to each other in the comments sections too please.

A lot of comments on here are being negative toward the guest that spoke to the Muslim. I for one think that as Muslims we should have sympathy for people and not use hateful words. He may have been harsh etc., but he took the time to sit down and listen and speak and that’s commendable. I don’t think it’s very “Islamic” to just say that someone is arrogant or mean. We should always consider that when someone is behaving like this they could be hurting. Islam demands sympathy and that we think positively about people.

Gentlemen, there are two types of atheists. One who has no clue of what's going around him and completely lacks knowledge. The other one is the arrogant person, whether he lacks knowledge, but he thinks he's very knowledgeable, or he's very knowledgeable to a point where he thinks no one knows better than him. I just can't handle well, rude, obnoxious people like that specimen. I also feel that his rudeness went higher than the normal because he was talking to a non-white Muslim.
May God bless you for your amazing work, brother.

Throw a bucket of sand on the floor. Now observe the position of each grain of sand. What is the probability that each grain of sand will land in exactly that spot? They could have landed anywhere, but you can clearly see that it happened exactly in that formation, and each time you throw the sand the pattern of grains is completely unique yet equally complex. It doesn't matter how unlikely this universe is, because all other possibilities are equally unlikely.

It is an utter waste of time to have a discussion with a convinced Muslim. The historical Buddha probably would've remained silent. I would just keep walking without engaging the man at all, and I certainly wouldn't want to keep him from his 'namaz'. I am grateful for our First Amendment rights here in this constitutional republic (United States), and freedom of religion includes freedom FROM religion. Here on my native homeland, the musulmanes can't tell me how to live, and a result of forced conversions in other lands is a lot of 'munafiqin''. I don't put my trust in the messianic expectations, end-times prophecies, or afterlife fantasies of any religion, but peoples of different cultures and religions should be free to live and worship as they will so long as they do not hinder or harm others.

The Chemist is getting a lot of hate in the comments - While I don’t agree with the Chemist’s perspective he did stay for the conversation and hear the Imam out and for alone he deserves some love and patience since that’s what Islam preaches and the Imam in the video was also practicing this teaching ❤

If not, why can't we simply assert that the universe has no explanation/cause? The God claim is extraordinary and requires extraordinary evidence.

Unfortunately, the guy was just waiting to strike. He wasn't trying to change his own mind or get a perspective, but to find faults and mistakes, and he hadn't succeeded. He kept returning to his own conclusion, but didn't react to when the conclusion already debunked by the probability impossibility, stating 'it goes back to my point: entropy'. It was explained to be impossible, yet he kept coming back without countering the explanation. He said he needed evidence, but the very science he gave for examples haven't found the supporting empirical evidences. Entropy that he thought as the origin of constants in the universe still necessitates a fine-tuning in the beginning of the initial condition; the chaos needs a fine-tuning in order to have what we have right now. Scientific experiments hasn't been successful to observe it without the fine-tuning.
