Hello mate, as I tried to explain before, you are drawing a false equivalency between burping at the dining table and these unacceptable acts.
They are not the same, they are illegal /unacceptable for good reasons. Where as burping at the table is rude but not a moral issue.
So I won’t be asking such a poorly reasoned question to my family.
Science has studied them (the acts, not burping 😆) and determined they are damaging both both physically and psychologically.
That Is why they are illegal. Not because a deity has forbidden them.
But that is the beauty of a secular society, we are free to study these things and to change the law accordingly.
If they are proven to be non damaging, then the law allows them or is changed to allow them.

Mohammed has already made up his mind about you and everything you've got to say. What genuine point is there in debating him other than showing the audience that it is so.
Isn't that the main point of debate though? I mean theists of any kind are either confused (the decent kind) or dishonest (the pricks). Some of them are both.
These debates are not for presenting any secret knowledge or new evidence on theism. Although it could hypothetically be the latter, I haven't heard new arguments let alone evidence in decades.
These debates are exhibitions of rhetoric and for exposing apologists and their fallacious arguments.
Debate is, by definition, not something done to convince the other side, or at least, not any style of debate I have personally been taught. In the debate community, we call that "arguing". Debating someone is to prove your point to a third party. This can be done with facts, appeals to emotion, etc.
From being a fan of the athiest experience for years I can say almost 100% of the time it's not the person you are debating with that changes their mind but the audience who are watching. They're more likely to be reasonable when they aren't the ones being personally told they are wrong.
