When I have stopped using Facebook in 2019 till now and have no accounts of Instagram and tiktok Alhamdulilah I'm feeling healthy and positive for this commitment . 3 years without Facebook is big decision for me .
So true, beside TH-cam, I really hate social media... I never had Facebook, instagram, tiktok and so on and I feel like people around me are living in a whole different world now. I really feel weird and disconnected and I wish I was born earlier to live my youth in the 80's/90's/20's but kheir inshaAllah.

🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️
🔴 Islam is not just another religion.
🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚
🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.
🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.
I deleted all my social accounts awhile ago. Not just deleting the apps but deleted the account and waiting the 30 days for it to be permanent (which is crazy itself). I noticed I have a ton of extra time to work on myself and enjoy my family (without my phone in my hand) and I've been as happy as a child!

The biggest cause of distraction and lack of focus in this era is the addiction to social networking sites, and that is because it is easy to move from one content to another, even with useful content, we drift with the same results unfortunately.

Truly one of the most beneficial muslim channels especially for us the youth we've been drowing in social media & the internet since our birth may Allah protect us and keep us steadfast.

I deactivated and deleted all social media around 5-6 months ago. It's been great. The real world is such a different place than online.
I haven't had a single argument, or hostile confrontation. I rarely spend time on my phone which allows me to pursue healthier hobbies. :)
The documentary the social dilemma helped me finally do it. How the super computers study your responses, time you look at things etc. They try to build a profile that will best provoke you to stare at the screen longer. You being upset or depressed is irrelevant. The longer you look at the screen the more money they get. Social media feeds on us like a parasite.

যারা কুফরী করে তারা কি ভেবে দেখে না যে, আসমানসমূহ ও যমীন ওতপ্রোতভাবে মিশে ছিল*, অতঃপর আমি উভয়কে পৃথক করে দিলাম, আর আমি সকল প্রাণবান জিনিসকে পানি থেকে সৃষ্টি করলাম। তবুও কি তারা ঈমান আনবে না?
*আধুনিক জ্যোতিবিজ্ঞানীদের মতে আদিতে আকাশ, সূর্য, নক্ষত্র ও পৃথিবী ইত্যাদি পৃথক সত্তায় ছিল না; বরং সবকিছুই ওতপ্রোতভাবে মিশে ছিল। তখন মহাবিশ্ব ছিল অসংখ্য গ্যাসীয় কণার সমষ্টি। পরবর্তীকালে মহাবিস্ফোরণের মাধ্যমে নক্ষত্র, সূর্য, পৃথিবী ও গ্রহসমূহ সৃষ্টি হয়। এটিই বিগ ব্যাং বা মহাবিস্ফোরণ থিওরী।

As Salamu Aliakum. Social media is like another life but virtual life, if you know how to live there like if you know how to live in real life or if you can protect your heart, eyes , ears, and tongue from sinful things then you are fine, but don’t be too confident about the harm/danger you can prevent yourself from. Remember Allah the Exalted did Not tell to Adam do not eat from that specific tree, but rather said Do NOT approach to that tree. Which means if we approach we cannot refrain ourselves from doing sin.
