Hey Steven, a beautiful pitch up there pal. We headed to wainwright memorial site but it was just way too boggy, there's only limited places isn't there. We had to drop down because all of us couldn't pitch. Great looking tent that, views were stunning and so was the food. Cheers pal, Ant
A great video as always mate. My auntie and uncle ran the guest house on Buttermere, and the regular trips from the west end of Newcastle were like travelling to another planet. Haystacks was the most memorable ramble as a nipper. Brought back great memories, thanks ❤
Cracking vid and camp mate with some lovely photos and drone footage.. 100% worth the risk to catch a sunset like that… I’m still amazed I managed to keep my feet dry 😅🥾
Great watch this was. Looks like you had better views than I did on the morning. Sometimes it pays to be a bit lower eh. But that sunset was a beauty wasn’t it!
I'm surprised Andy Wardle didn't come floating past in that 'river' you crossed! The more I see that Storm Star, the more I think, Hmmmmmm........... Great upload Geordie. ATB
Great video, always worth while for a sunset like that. The weather's been shocking, unpredictable for so long, one of the reasons I bought the SS2, that said hoping its away for a while now, out in the Cricket this weekend 😁 TFS, David
Great views there Steve looks alot of fun. Could i just ask how long it takes to walk up to where you pitched from the car park please? I live in morpeth, i started wild camping a few months ago but still getting used to carrying the weight on my back so slowly progressing my distance of hiking!. But love it here, looks amazing.
Not a Nortent Vern 1 in sight… 😂
But backpacking UK says it’s suitable for 7 seasons and a volcanic eruption?
@@JDB269I snorted when I read that 😂
@@JDB269🤣😂🤣
Is this going to end?
@@mananddog.outdoors Its weekend, we have had a hard week at work 🤣😂 Its called Banter mate 😝
I love the quality of the tent. I just could not deal with the carabiner clamps for the poles. It was a hassle for me.
Quality as always mate. Nice to see the kuiu out at the top table too 😎😁
That noise when the kuiu needs to dig in weather wise btw 💪🏽
Stay well,
Adge
Mind that kuiu is a thing of beauty mind!! 😍
Unreal!
