I am glad you guys have brought this up 👏👏👏 very well done content. I'm doing this from last 5 years after suffering from sugar specially toothaches. I've cut white sugar and I remember as kids we didn't have a culture from eating outside, everything was homemade even samosas but suddenly a culture from eating outside appears, once we change our habits we see a clear difference in our mind and body, I'm almost 40 and ppl predict that I'm 29... Well back in days mostly ppl look active healthy and beautiful like in their late 40s but this was suddenly changed and ppl started to look much older than their age. Kids are even born with diabetes which is extremely shocking because that was not a thing in past times.

It's been 4 months since I quit refined sugar and I have noticed significant fat loss around the belly and face. Trust me though, it wasn't easy. I felt so lethargic and my mind craved for some sugar. I had this metallic kind of taste in my mouth at times. But hey I pushed through all those and now I am fine without added sugars. My skin started glowing. My bowel movements are easy and consistent now. My abs are visible and I feel lightweight

    • @ansh5349
      @ansh5349 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@birdieroom you don't have to substitute refined sugar with anything of that sort actually. Your body gets enough glucose to function just from the daily carbs that you eat. I even drink tea and coffee raw, without added sugar eventhough it's fine to add some. You don't have to go extreme like me. Just keep track of the added sugars you're taking and make sure it's within daily recommendations and also be active, get your body moving to make sure it's fuel and not some means of instant gratification.

Thanks to both of you for putting efforts towards creating it...
I still remember around 5 months ago, i had fever and cough and i went to a medical shop, and bought 2-3 chocolate bar along with the medicines...then it became so addictive that each day i was consuming minimum 2-3 bars, it lead to various skin issues like pimples, anxiety level went up, and all...I couldn't find the source of it then i saw one youtube shorts regarding how suger is killing us secretly...
From then i stopped consuming any items which contains added suger, started to read the levels..
Turns out it was one of the best decision i've ever taken..😊

I weighed 120kgs , wanted to lose weight desperately , i improved my diet and replaced my sugar with artificial sweeteners like sugar free, it helped me a lot , till now within a span of 6-7 months i have managed to lose 26 kgs . I mean diet changes and workout helped a lot but I think cutting down sugar gave a significant boost to my weight-loss journey .Now i don’t crave for sugary products anymore .

"The Bitter Truth About Sugar: Unmasking Its Addictive Power"
    Summary:
In this eye-opening video, the harmful impact of sugar on our bodies is thoroughly explored. The video delves into the addictive nature of sugar, the hidden sources of sugar in everyday products, and the adverse health effects associated with excessive sugar consumption.
    Key Takeaways:
    1. Sugar's Addictive Nature: Sugar, often underestimated, is compared to a drug due to its addictive properties. It triggers the brain's reward system, releasing dopamine, similar to the way drugs do. Overconsumption of sugar leads to binge eating and cravings.
    2. Neuroplasticity: Sugar consumption rewires the brain, forming new neural pathways that associate happiness with sugary foods. This leads to addiction and an increased desire for sweets.
    3. Hidden Sugar: Sugar is not limited to desserts; it's present in many unexpected products like ketchup, protein bars, and salad dressing. Reading product labels is crucial to understanding the hidden sugar content.
    4. Sugar-Related Diseases: Excessive sugar consumption contributes to obesity and diabetes. India has a significant diabetes problem, with over 10 crore diabetics and 13 crore pre-diabetics.
    5. The WHO Recommended Limit: The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends consuming no more than 50 grams of sugar (equivalent to 10 teaspoons) per day.
    6. Artificial Sweeteners: Diet sodas and products containing artificial sweeteners may not be healthier alternatives, as they have their own set of health concerns, including obesity and tooth enamel erosion.
    7. Take Control: Making desserts at home allows you to control ingredients consciously and avoid excessive sugar. It's essential to be mindful of your sugar consumption and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
    8. Blood Tests: Regular blood tests can help monitor your sugar levels and provide valuable insights into your overall health.
    Conclusion:
Sugar is a pervasive and often hidden ingredient in our diets. While it may not be as harmful as cigarettes, it is undoubtedly addictive and can have detrimental effects on health when consumed in excess. Understanding the sources of hidden sugar and monitoring one's sugar intake is crucial for a healthier and more conscious lifestyle.

*WHY SUGER IS HARMFUL FOR US* 🇮🇳
Sugar is a type of carbohydrate that is found in many different foods and drinks. It is a source of energy for the body, but it is important to consume it in moderation. Excessive sugar consumption can lead to a number of health problems, including:
Weight gain: Sugar is high in calories and low in nutrients. Consuming too much sugar can lead to weight gain, which can increase the risk of other health problems, such as heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes.
Type 2 diabetes: Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition in which the body does not produce enough insulin or does not use insulin properly. Insulin is a hormone that helps the body's cells use glucose for energy. Consuming too much sugar can increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
Heart disease: Heart disease is the leading cause of death in both men and women. Consuming too much sugar can increase the risk of heart disease by raising cholesterol levels, increasing blood pressure, and damaging the arteries.
Stroke: A stroke occurs when the blood supply to the brain is interrupted or reduced, depriving brain tissue of oxygen and nutrients. Consuming too much sugar can increase the risk of stroke by raising blood pressure and damaging the arteries.
Liver disease: The liver is responsible for filtering toxins from the blood and processing nutrients. Consuming too much sugar can damage the liver and lead to liver disease.
Tooth decay: Sugar is a major cause of tooth decay. When sugar comes into contact with bacteria in the mouth, it forms an acid that attacks the teeth. Tooth decay can lead to cavities, gum disease, and tooth loss.
Cancer: There is some evidence that consuming too much sugar may increase the risk of certain types of cancer, such as breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and pancreatic cancer.
It is important to note that the relationship between sugar consumption and health is complex. More research is needed to fully understand the long-term effects of sugar consumption on health. However, it is clear that consuming too much sugar can have a number of negative health consequences.
Here are some tips for reducing sugar consumption:
Drink water instead of sugary drinks, such as soda, juice, and sports drinks.
Eat whole fruits and vegetables instead of processed snacks and sugary drinks.
Choose low-fat or fat-free dairy products instead of full-fat dairy products.
Limit your intake of processed foods, such as baked goods, candy, and ice cream.
Read food labels carefully and choose foods that are low in sugar.
If you are concerned about your sugar consumption, talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian. They can help you create a healthy eating plan that meets your individual needs.
