Having just read your explanation on the cutting of this stone, my comment is totally different from what I had originally intended to make. Knowing that you purchased the rough and needed to get as much back on your investment, changes everything. Given those circumstances, I understand the need to invest the time and effort in faceting this rough. While the quality is lacking, the color is beautiful. I love the red flash mixed with the wonderful blue. I have no idea what the final value of the gemstone is but I hope you made back your investment. Thank you for the post, I hope someone enjoys your effort with this gemstone. 👍🏻💙😎
Really thankful to you for a thoughtful comment ❤️😊 yeah exactly this is not.much good rock but yeah colour was nice. 2 stones which came from this rock still with me. And yes I got back my investment and earned something from this 😊 Stay blessed 🙏🏻
That was a fascinating process to watch, I've been looking into gem cutting videos and it's fascinating to see the similarities in the process around the world. I liked the red shine it had at the end, it was a fascinating color contrast.
Great stone with a beautiful color. I’m sure he was trained by a person who did the same technique. This should be a great training video. Of how technique goes along way.
Hello friend, good day. You know, here I have a blue sapphire like yours, weighing 6 pounds. It is a very intense blue color, but in some areas of this sapphire, a professional diamond cutter gave me a number as high as the diamond, but since this rough sapphire is so large, my problem here is that there are no cutters. And I will have to learn from your tutorials to be able to find very good pieces, and the bigger the better.
Ignore all the negative comments mere bhai. You turned an ugly looking stone to a much more admirable specimen. Even if the stone was not that good enough to begin with. Atleast you gave it a shot which alone was worth it. Keep growing buddy. All the best. Love from India Cheers brother

I know what you are talking about but performing gems always increases heart beat lol . It requires a big heart to watch. We make a few cabs from remaining rough . We aim to not waste but where we have to remove - we do.

Wow. You found some nice colour in that stone. I wouldn’t worry about the negative comments. They probably have no idea what they’re talking about.
Thank you so much Anne for positive comment; yeah i just to try to get something from it. I am also tired to see negative comments on it lol.
This video killed a small piece of my heart. Please, please keep this guy away from stones. Ugh. I need a drink.

All he did was make a gorgeous stone that is wearable. There is no way it would be useful as large as it was.

the earth is a big rock, are we launching these guys into space or?
It was a poor quality stone to begin with. What was salvaged wasn't worth buying.
Never seen how rough is turned into faceted gemstones...fascinating!

Approx USD 30 per carats

Depends on quality sizes
The small good stones which you have seen in video you can pick any on selection @ USD 80
