51 yrs of watching gems get cut by masters in India ,Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar, Germany, Belgium, USA, Canada. Australia, this Amazing Artist is a Master of the Craft! Production value is excellent also. An absolute pleasure to watch.
Stunningly beautiful gem ! I think that the Portuguese trillion cut produces the most brilliance in a gemstone and this finished gem proves it. You are a master of your craft !
Omg! Congrats. This is why you are the G.O.A.T. of gem cutting. And seeing the joy on your face appreciating the beauty of what your holding just made my heart melt. Your a wonderful human. You and your boys
I got to see this stone in person before it was cut when my fiancée and I visited the shop to get her ring resized. Her ring turned out perfect, and it was an absolute pleasure to chat with Mr. Moriarty about gems and faceting. This stone turned out beautiful!
That is the nicest largest Smithsonian collection quality morganite beryl I have ever seen. You undervalue that stone and your talent skill and attention to detail.
That gem is the most beautiful color I have ever seen. The facets and inclusions make it mesmerizing. I had no idea how much work, skill and equipment was required in this art. I could see on your face that you get a lot of joy from taking a raw stone and turning g it into a work of art.
I have never seen a stone cut from the begining and was unfamiliar with morganite. I would never have imagined that dull looking stone would turn out so stunning. After watchng this video I have researched Maoganite and seen beautiful jewelry made from the different colors. Mr. Moriarty certaianly has earned his master title. Thank you for sharing the process sir.
Morganite is probably my most favorite of the gems. I love Rubies and find Tanzanite so very appealing and enchanting. Mandarin Garnet will suck me in at a glance but Morganite resides at the very top of my list. This stone is stunning!
What can I say? I happened upon your video and thought I’ll give it a minute watch to see what it’s about!! Hooked!!! Mesmerising stuff!!! Incredible talent sir! Look forward to viewing more!
Watching this gemstone being cut really makes me appreciate all the hard work that goes into showing off precious stones in all their beauty. This is art as much as making music or painting is.
Been a rockhound for over 15 years and have been wanting to get into gem cutting. The videos that you make really inspire me to chase my dreams of being a professional gem cutter. Keep up the amazing work I love your vids!
Between the gem cutting master here and Pablo Cimadevila making some of the world's most beautiful jewelry I need look no further for my thrills. Regards from Scotland.
My family did a lot of lapidary work, and I had some wonderful times. At one point, I looked into faceting, mostly because of my love of faceted gems. Never did, though and stayed with Opals. This was a wonderful and fascinating process to watch. The cut for this stone gave it life as you looked down into it. I was captured by the varied splashes of light generated by the facet angles of the pavilion. Lastly, the color. I've seen Morganite that are pink. This color is, in my opinion, much more stunning. Thanks for a view into faceting.
Absolutely incredible! With so much short form content out there I really appreciate the full length video walking through the process. Please keep up the great work!
I have watched 1khrs of vids about stuff I like. I don't know if I have ever been more intrigued by the process you're doing. I love silver, gold and sparkling stones, you have me very happy
This is fascinating. I always knew that it was laborious but wow, I wouldn’t have the patience. The cut is brilliant but my favourite is the Asscher cut, older style but beautiful. Thank you so much for this. We learn something every day.
Wow!!! Best video ever!!!! Absolutely gorgeous and I loved watching the journey! Thank you for sharing this. Most fastinating video I have ever seen. The stone is stunning. Thank you.
Wow! That brought me to tears. If there is anywhere in the universe more beautiful than our Earth, I cannot imagine it. Thank you for letting us watch a master at work.❤️🐝🤗
I honestly don't know how you can pay someone with this amount of care, patience, precision and attention to detail enough money for what they do. Their SKILL is literally the *value of the stone.*
What a beautiful amber color ! Would love to get a laser pointer and turn off the lights for a couple of hours. I'll just bet that would be the most relaxing light show ever.
Look at the pure joy when he shows it in the end. His passion almost moves him to tears. This is what true dedication looks like.
Haha yes! However this massive stone is lab grown... the joy is the same when the beauty is there

That vault door is huge!
@@MikeHoncho0811 vault doors like that protect more than $200,000. The installation alone is several several thousand.
And that Morganite can barely fir through it!!!!
The end result is very impressive. The level of patience invested is even more impressive.
