I’ve given 2 electric air compression calf massagers because they work! I have 2 because the first purchase got rid of my spider veins behind my knees. I didn’t wear shorts in my early 50’s but suddenly could in my mid 50’s 6 months after I started using it once a week. I was blown away because I purchased it to prevent painful and regular leg cramps. Btw, I took Nattokinase or ginger, Vit K and Vit D3 supplements with the air compression.

Excellent and valuable information as all of your videos are. I followed your recommendations about ordering low level compression socks and the power step insoles online, and they definitely made a workd of difference. The Ortho-feet clogs are great to wear around the house since my home has hard floors. The only drawback I have with compression socks is that they get too hot to wear in the summer. I live in the South. Love your channel and I look forward to all of your videos.

Great video. I’ve struggled with weight loss and exercising. I have varicose veins and lymphedema, which seems to have gotten worse. My pain is in upper legs. I had me get compression stockings which to go up the entire leg. It’s a game changer. I can tell the difference in pain levels with and without them.

Good information! Just have to say, they gave me Morton's Neuroma and Peripheral Neuropathy! Awful pain and numbness in my foot! Even the low grade ones were too tight around my feet. So I can only wear compression sleeves for the calf, not compression socks that cover the foot. I switched to compression calf sleeves and after about 3 months the Morton's Neuroma and numbness/peripheral neuropathy are much better. Those socks strangled the nerves in my feet -- and I tried lots of different brands and grades. I have Chronic Venous Insufficiency, but since I can't wear the full compression socks, will the calf sleeves be enough to help manage the CVI and stop the disease progression? Thanks for your help!

I found when I occasionally have "busy legs" at bedtime that the compression socks quiet them immediately so I can sleep.
I recently heard they are bad to wear to bed.

I found compression socks at Dollar tree only $1.25 a pair and they work. Yeah, they don't have any variety (only black) but but they go up all the way to just under the knee.

Compression socks including the tighter, stronger, firmer ones can easily be put on without a sock donner as well while sitting on the bed (as long as you are able to bend and reach your feet), using nitrile medical goves or rubber gloves like you would wash dishes with etc, and folding them down over the heel and placing them on your feet, and then pulling them up your leg and smoothing them out using the gloves. There are some wonderful, helpful TH-cam videos that demonstrate the technique, so don't let the challenge of putting them on stop you from wearing and benefitting from compression socks.

I feel that way except in the toes.. like it makes them bent . I have nerve damage so maybe jus extra sensitive but I asked for the toeless ones. I get the non medical ones from Remy. Got 4-5 cute pairs with colors n hearts ECT..for 7$ they feel so good perfect squeeze not too much

I have lymphedema., diagnosed by ultrasound 7yrs a go. I wear medi sure ccl hose . I wear these everday, because i am all day on my feet. I now have no cartilage in my thumbs and my bones are rubbing together in my thumb joints . My dr told me this is because of putting on the stockings everday. My question is , i had an mri and xray of my back , my legs and my hands. My mri is normal. My leg xray is normal. But my hand xray shows no cartilage. I still hve pain that is in my lower back ,and in my seat and legs below the pelvis . Can this be from lymphedema since my mri is normal?

I have tried compression socks, they don't make them for people who are shorter than 5', the foot is always too long, and they are a massive pain in the tush to get on, they are also expensive.

I'm in Scotland and it was a Vascular Nurse who gave me a prescription for the stockings. 2 pairs of medically approved for free. We don't pay for prescriptions here. I have Peripheral Arterial Disease and I wouldn't be buying cheap store bought socks for this.

@@carolstrachan4197yes, the same here in Australia. The public health system Medicare pays for 1 pair (I purchased 2 extra pairs) - ( Medicare is funded by our PAYG taxes)- pays for the public hospital stay and OT treatment as well and some medicines costs are at greatly reduced prices.
