When all the cold start associated systems are full functional: electrical, fuel, engines, hydraulics, displays, caution/warning systems, VMU, sounds, etc.
Thanks! Now I did my first flatspins. Basically just get really slow, and when you start to fall down add aileron to initiate the spin. I love the new sounds and shaking when you stall/fall through the air (especially in a cobra)

It was a combination of super maneuverability, countermeasure deployment and Electronic Warfare. It makes the SU-33 a very deadly aircraft to fight against, not impossible to kill, but a very high level threat to NATO aircraft. I say this an an American player that loathes Russian aircraft, you must understand your enemy and their capabilities to kill them effectively, even if that means admitting that your enemy has a very good piece of hardware.
I haven't played DCS in ages. Just wondering if at any point the Flankers will be able to be equipped with R-77's? Not having an active homing missile I found to be a major pain in the ass when fighting AMRAAM equipped western A/C
Bombastico NN why? There are no arcade fighters. These planes are not overly powerful, they still perform correctly. They just easy to start up and Operate. Honestly doesn't change too much in combat. Watch me bag 3 flanker kills in a mirage. Easy

While the SU-27 was my first aircraft in this game, the SU-33 quickly became my main "easy Flaming Cliff" vehicle.

How do you do the flatspin shown in 1:31 in the video? If I fly slow my yaw authority gets so low that I can never achieve that rotation

The Su-27P as portrayed in DCS has never been equipped with the R-77. I think you are thinking of the Su-27SM or Su-35.

Flanker is far better then the M2K but a good mirage pilot can even the odds, particularly at low altitude.
AutismSpeaks yeah I'm just saying the reason FC3 aircraft dominate is because they are Superior planes IRL, not because they are somplified.
When you operate in combat the same tactics and physics apply. Some pilots are good, some arent. Deal with it. FC3 planes are fine
