I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthog , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

Su-27, my second favorite fighter to fly in DCS....first being the MiG-29A. The 29 just feels like it can always do exactly what you want it to do, crazy thrust to weight, the Su-27 is slightly wobbly but can do some wild things and its by far the meanest looking fighter ever produced. It just looks like it WANTS to kick your rear end.
Agreed always thought the Flanker’s design was sleek and deadly.
The Flanker & Fulcrum go back & forth being my favorites. I'm on a MiG 29 kick now though but the Flanker is always there. The Su-30Sm mod is a good one too.

Su-27 should have a high fidelity module, it's a shame DCS hasn't done it yet.

Russians are super secretive about their jets
Sm3 or any other flanker modern version are imposible to come dcs. But perhaps something like the old Ukrainian version of flanker B it's possible to model. I hope dcs could do that in the future.
@@thelordofcream f16 are still in service as well as f18 but we still have full module lol

Fox 3's ? If that is not the j 11 or su30 or 35, you have a mod with fox 3's - which one?
I just started learning the flanker and fulcrum, but would LOVE Longshot vids on how to be the ultimate sneaky infrared mountain ganker. Been practicing against AI on the south Atlantic map in the Andes, not able to do it as good as you do it( you're practically a effortless infrared stealth fighter when you takeFlankers and EO systems in mountains. Hoping to get a tenth as good as you in that- and at using the FCS disabled to one-turn any foe, from hornets to raptors, like you were stomping in videos not too long ago......

Personally , i think all modules should be like FC3 pack, DCS would end up with a much larger fleet over time and i believe a much larger player base 🧐 i respect the incredible amount of effort into full fidelity modules , but ultimately, FC3 type of modules would be well enough to enjoy majority of specific characteristics of each module while reducing somewhat a learning curve for players and increase time efficiency for those whom create them 🧐

Does anyone here know the mod used by LS to get Fox 3’s added to the SU-27? As standard it only has Fox 1’s and 2’s. Would make the SU-27 far more dangerous. Otherwise I’d have to be flying the Mig-29, or J-11, which I know is basically the copy-cat version that the Chinese did, but would be nice to have that option for the SU-27. Many thanks to anyone with an answer.

Sir, could you do a video on how to Talk to people online.....at least for me this is The biggest barrier. To such an extent that i just havnt had The courage or The knowledge to try.....
try playing VRChat, you dont need VR, just desktop pc, its free on Steam. It helped me overcome social awkwardness.

Why is the standard mig-29 and su-27 able to carry R-77 in dcs?
Doesn't lowering your landing gear signal a surrender?
TLDR: don't know :)
I was wondering if it glitched or disconnected. Wheels down and jettison weapons does signal surrender but it was still holding missiles.
It almost looked like the gear was jammed because it didn’t look to be all the way down. That would explain the AI flying weird as well because jammed gear causes a master caution that you can’t get rid of.
It also prevents you from firing or jettisoning weapons.
What do you do to make your game look this good?
Upgrade it to the latest version and turn the graphics settings all the way up?

did you use a mod to get fox 3s on the Su-27?
Fox 3s are in most of the videos on the Su-27 on this channel.
@@traviswalker8933 yes but the SU27 as standard only comes with a Fox 1 (R27 if I remember correctly) so I think he wants to know what mod LS is using to get the Fox 3 added, usually it’s only the Mig29 or J11 that comes with the Fox 3 capability, or unofficial SU mods. Personally I don’t know or own the mod so I too would be curious.

R-27 comes in all "Fox" versions so it would be weird only having one of them...

If you will join my server you will see that all Flankers have FOX3. No mod

Howd you get the r77 on the su 27?
Probably a custom loadout by editing lua files.
The J11a is pretty much the same but with different liverys and it can carry r77
How do you watch the track in multiplayer?
usually f5 i believe only enabled on a few servers like GS
@@thelordofcream No that's the exterior view track is the recording of the entire flight and can be rewatched from any angle
When you quit a single player session you will be prompted with "watch track" and "save track" options
