Great! I love your travel videos. Even with the annotations (which are super cute) it feels more like a vlog. I liked when you sat down and explained things about the place you were visiting, it was more informative but this is still great :)
yay! you're living my dream of doing a traveling channel! you're amazing! love the foot note information! hope you ladies have/had a wonderful and safe time!
I was surprised to see how vacant the streets were. I wish could have read the pop ups but were too small on iPhone. Thx for taking us to Dubai. I would love to see more. Hugs! C PS. I was too lazy to sign into personal YT account.
I found this so weird to watch! I lived in Dubai for 7 years, and recently moved from there last June, and this video made me want to go back and visit it! Really looking forward to more of the videos :D
Watching your video brought back memories for me since I was there almost two years ago! No one walks around there, your landlady was no wrong :) We went on the same safari tour you did and got engaged at sunset! Our driver was an awesome crazy driver but super fun! Looks like you enjoyed it too. Dubai is an interesting place to visit but don't think I would go back....
This brought back a lot of memories.I spent some time in Dubai while on station in the Persian Gulf. Did you get a chance to go to Wild Wadi Water Park, one of the best water parks that I've been to. Also the Sunset dune tours were a lot of fun too. Awesome footage looking forward to more.
I loved how you had that little girl pop up with information. That was a really good idea, but the writing was soo small!! haha I was having trouble seeing it, but maybe it's just me because I have horrible eye sight. Making it bigger in another video might be something you should try. Other than that I thought the video was awesome!! Thanks for sharing!
This is great but just one constructive criticism, the annotations, or the tip bits in the lower left corner could be a little bit thicker :) Great video though everything looks really cool!
awesome video, as an emarati i feel happy that you checked out the souq and the creek and explored the culture rather than heading to the malls and beaches like the stereotypical tourist :D
What really struck me was that the entire city was built on the oil industry, an industry that has been going for barely more than a century and in the middle east for much less. Really shows how young the place is. On another note would it be possible to label some of the major buildings in future videos? Not all of them of course but, for example, the building with the flags outside (4:45) is evidently important but I have no idea what it is.
I liked the little annotations you put in the bottom left. But please make the text a lot bigger. It's impossible to read them on the TV or on mobile ;-)
Its the Atlantis, located at the palm Island :) We snorkel there and they have an awesome water park, and i think it was built in 2007 or 08 i guess :)
I live as an expat in the UAE, its not that pricey, there's tons you can do for little money or none really. I live about an hour out of dubai in another city, and I've driven so many times to Dubai and just sat on the beach next to the Burj Al Arab. It depends what you want to do. There's a lot you can do in the other emirates for cheap as well. I guess it's matter of of personal taste in activities and knowing a city a bit better. If you want to travel here, it could be totally worth while.
hello, I am visiting dubai for the first time this november and i just wanted to know if you booked this bus tour in advance? Please could you reply thank you.....btw love ur videos :)
Dubai is a good place for tourism ONLY... some of the places are VERY expensive, especially the big hotel chains there. Discrimination is very easy to see once you get past the "touristy" feel of the place. I heard from a few friends that stayed there long term and one of them said that as long as you're not carrying a major "western" passport (what she said), they hold it once you start working with them for the duration of your contract.
Dubai's economy is not based on oil, it doesn't have much oil fields/reserves. Dubai has been a trade center and had a trade-based economy way before the discovery of oil. Abu Dhabi, it's bigger sister and capital city is where the oil is at.
It's quite easy to get lost in Dubai, especially now that they've changed all the street names. What was wrong with 'Emirates Road' now it is 'Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road' and another road is 'Emirates Road'. I've lived in Dubai for six years and it is an amazing city. I've actually made some videos about it on my own TH-cam channel, so if you'd like to see learn little of what I've learnt about Dubai culture, I'd invite you to watch.
I see this time you're carrying two professional cameras..one is sony NEX..hmm you learned from your blurry cam on ur thailand trip :p. Well cant wait for the next chapter..
COOL!!! Dubai has always been fantasy vacation destination of mine. Thanks for sharing :)

I was surprised to see how vacant the streets were. I wish could have read the pop ups but were too small on iPhone. Thx for taking us to Dubai. I would love to see more. Hugs! C PS. I was too lazy to sign into personal YT account.

Its the Atlantis, located at the palm Island :) We snorkel there and they have an awesome water park, and i think it was built in 2007 or 08 i guess :)
great video the only thing i would change is the size of the writing i would make it just a little bigger as i found it hard to read
super, dubai was the best place I've ever been
Can't wait to see the next video! :-D
Your dialogue bubbles are a bit too small to read. Awesome video, what a beautiful city.
I would make the text at the bottom left that pops up a bit more readable!
Dubai looks amazing
I think I'd have a hard time reading the signs O.o
oh god, you went to dubai in MARCH, you guys should have went earlier in december-january months...so many things to do in the winter months
Awesome video. Kinda feel like I just went on a 5minute holiday to Dubai without moving from my bed.
you are brave to travel there........looks beautiful but I don't think I'd go.....

Agreed. Text needs to be a lil BIGGER. Think of other on Mobiles. Great Stuff Linz!
Aww loved it xD
Question, what was with that black out from 4:52 to 5:01?
hello, I am visiting dubai for the first time this november and i just wanted to know if you booked this bus tour in advance? Please could you reply thank you.....btw love ur videos :)
Just a little tip, maybe you could do measurements and degrees and such in the imperial as well as in the metric system. A lazy belgian viewer ;)

OMG You're in Dubai!! If only there were more viewers here, you could do a meet up!
Have you seen a documantary by vice about "the slaves of dubai"?
Very good video imo
i live there and its an amazing city! its so cool to see my city on youtube and knowing each and every place she goes to! this so fucking cool!!
i really want to do this, travel the wrld and film what i experience. you got sponsored right?
Dubai's economy is not based on oil, it doesn't have much oil fields/reserves. Dubai has been a trade center and had a trade-based economy way before the discovery of oil. Abu Dhabi, it's bigger sister and capital city is where the oil is at.
good guide.

I love the little annotations, but they're soooo small :( A little bigger please!
heh..yah we took taxi cabs when the ship i was stationed on pulled in there...although it looks like a lot has happened there in 13 years.
its 5 cents a k in dubai for taxis
Great vid
no you dont need to book in advance
That's just untrue. My dad is in property development, and I know labourers here in the UK aren't treated nearly as abysmally as they are in Dubai.
Looks nice!
awsome i want to go there so very badly!!!
dubai is beautiful
You should make the comment bubbles bigger. They're hard to read on my iPhone
Thank you! :)
Next time do visit Kuwait!
If ur in route to the middleast
