Protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.
Wall Street pitched so-called quality stocks with high profitability and low debt, as a kind of insurance against whatever the economy might throw at you. Quality stocks have underperformed the S&P500 this year, My $200k portfolio is down by approximately 20%, any recommendations to scale up my returns on investment
Exactly why i enjoy market decisions being guided by a pro , seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk management and market experience , been using a portfolio-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over $3million in that time frame.

I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
The owner you spoke to - I've been buying from his stores for over 10 years and they always have (for me) the best quality jewellery. I know another owner who I also started purchasing from around 7-8 years ago when he had 2 small shops but now operates 16 stores around Gold Souq. The only thing you have to be careful with is when it comes to selling. Most shops will say there is a difference between the buying rate and the selling rate, but this is rubbish. The gold price is the same globally, so why should they offer you less than spot price when selling? The shops may say it's to lessen their risk in case the gold price falls the next day, but at the end of the day, that is a risk. What if I offered them less than spot price for buying because the gold price 'may' fall the next day, would they accept it? Of course not! So just be careful here and ensure they give you at least the global spot price when selling or trading in old gold. Oh and also, I always take a pair of over ear headphones as not to get inundated by the people that constantly approach you that try to sell you fake watches, handbags, t-shirts etc.
Hi thank you for the info. What is the name of the shop where you made good experience over the years? Does he also have gold pars with 10,20,50 grams etc.?
Being in the industry couple of things to mention. First is the making fee, lot of the time it may be very little to nothing on the machine made items however if you have anything detailed hand made or custom made you will have to pay the making fee. Secondly, the authentication I can tell you that bars can be fake no acid, machine or weight can detect the fake bars we often drill holes in them if they dont come from our trusted suppliers. However small jewellery can be authenticated by the machine.
Considering the current market uncertainty, it appears prudent to consider investing in gold or a gold ETF. I'm contemplating allocating over $300k for retirement purposes. While the potential for short-term gains in a bullish market is enticing, I recognize the importance of maintaining a long-term investment strategy.
Many people minimise the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, following a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm solvent. I looked for licenced advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $275k to $850k despite inflation.

Hi Karl. A bit of information you missed out was that you can only bring gold worth Rupees 50,000 or 1,00,000 only when you have lived more than one year abroad. This is according to the Customs Law in India. If you come back to India within a year then you have to pay a duty of 44% on your gold items. Hope that helps
Really sound advice, A couple of other variables in travelling with gold to India- 24c unmarked jewellery - chains and rings - ( it does raise eye brows with bullion dealers in India see pure gold jewelry- and another viable method are 8g minted coins " sovereigns" and the occasional Britannia/ Eagle/ maple.
I have always bought gold chains from the suk. Brought back to Australia and sold a few years later for a profit. Gold centre is the place I buy gold from
Thank you bringing us this authentic buying guide from Dubai Karl, you videos always rock. We plan to go to Dubai oneday and I am sure my wife will want to shop some gold, it is great to know all the information you just presented in this video. Cheers from USA, Michigan
3 questions: 1. I heard the making charge of jewelry in Dubai Souk is around 20% or more compared to around 7% in India. Can you provide a rough estimate of the making charge of a similar design in both countries? 2. Is paying by cash (AED or USD) results in 2.5% discount compared to using credit card? 3. For investment purpose, is it better to buy Bullions / Coins (instead of jewelry)? Since they don't have much making charge and can benefit from reduced gold price at Dubai + refund of the 5% VAT.
Hi Karl Rock, could you do a video on tourist trap in Abu Dhabi? There's a place called miraj art gallery which claims to be an art museum, and people are usually brought in by their drivers or tour guides, but once you're inside they will show you carpets "made of gold" and eventually start selling them to you. They will also tell you not to take photos for "fear of imitation"... Eventually they will also try to sell you watches too... It's frightening too, cos when I look at Google maps, around that area are other "art galleries" but they sell the exact same things...

I have been to gold souk and bought gold. Bar and coin is always risky to bring to India. 22ct jewellery is better. The shops offering zero making charge sells used gold or less purity. You can test gold purity in the same shop where you buy them. Buying gold in Dubai is always cheaper than India and they have only making charge which is 5% for 22ct jewellery. So the best way to check gold it’s buy doing a density test on a machine measured the weight on air and on water your get really accurate reading … and then you use xrf machine to double check your reading you don’t use the acid test anymore all the Jewelry store in my country have mandatory’ a xrf machine and density machine they always check it in front of you before buying so you don’t have to take to another place even small shop would have them make more trustworthy to invest with them
I will add the dubai duty free also to this list of "beware"! Particularly the watches sold at the duty free are NOT cheaper than any retailer. You only save on VAT/TAX that's it! otherwise the price is the same if not slightly higher than retailers. But, chances are at retailers offer better discounts so i'd say do not buy from dubai duty free.
Purchasing my first 2 houses in Dubai is a testament to what smart financial decisions and perseverance can achieve. I wasnt financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing is a grand choice I made😊
Not quite long I started investing. I'm very curious and need help on how to enhance and increase my returns. Any good investment tips.. would be appreciated
Alright, speaking in general terms, investing requires a good amount of knowledge. That's why it's essential to have a solid support system like a financial counselor, especially when picking out assets. I've been working with Regina Louise Collaro, who is an investment advisor at a registered wealth management company. I can't recommend her enough; my financial journey has been fantastic thanks to her. She's quite well-known for her services, and she helped me achieve financial stability through investments. Now, I benefit from her passive income strategies every month. So, I'd strongly suggest finding a reliable investment advisor for yourself
That’s great , your investment advisor must be really good,I have seen testimonies of people using the help of investment advisors in making them more financial stable. Do you mind sharing more info on this person?
Regina Louise Collaro is based in the United States and can work with anybody wherever they stay. If you would like more information on reaching her, you can conduct a search online.
Personally, I'm blessed and realizing I'm not the only one working with Regina Louise Collaro. I will consider myself lucky. I've been able to feed and make a living through her advice and great work. For such a person as Regina, I owe her gratitude, support and endless prayers as it is not easy to gain access to such a competent and reliable adviser. Who isn't just wise but has all it takes to handle an investment and is good at what she does.
I always watch her vedios about indian clothes and jewels...qnd i have seen one of your vedio yesterday you were saying my wife is an indian. ..i never knew she is your wife until i see this vlog😂😂😂😂anywy its nice 😁exposing scams. ..here in dubai scams are comparatively less than india...and actions would be taken had we filed a complaints if got scammed

What are your tips for buying gold?
Something I’ve learned recently was that XRF and acid test aren’t always very reliable in regards to plated items. If an item is plated you would need to scratch away that top layer to get reliable results. Bought some spoons sold as sterling recently. Hallmarks were in Ukrainian Cyrillic so I couldn’t translate it at first. But once I did it said it was just a mix of copper nickel and zinc. The seller I bought them from said they had xrf and acid tested it and it showed as sterling silver. But they forgot to scratch a layer off to test the core so it wasn’t a reliable testing. Just something to consider. Although I doubt that would happen in big and busy shops. My experience is buying second hand goods.

So the best way to check gold it’s buy doing a density test on a machine measured the weight on air and on water your get really accurate reading … and then you use xrf machine to double check your reading you don’t use the acid test anymore all the Jewelry store in my country have mandatory’ a xrf machine and density machine they always check it in front of you before buying so you don’t have to take to another place even small shop would have them make more trustworthy to invest with them
Don't let
them take it into the back to wrap ,,it up you will end up with gold covered lead 😮
Your Mother in law is beautiful wearing those ear rings you got her. GREAT VID!

All kalyan jewellers stores have something called a carat meter which checks the purity of gold in your jewelry through spectrophotometer.

Do they sell online like i want to buy from uk
What's the name of the store you bought at? I'm heading there tomorrow and need a trusted store to buy at
