Garth Brooks was given a Kennedy Center Honor this past year….you should check out Kelly Clarkson’s performance of “The Dance” at the Kennedy Center Honors….Garth was sitting right in front of her and you should see his reaction….it was SO GREAT! Kelly can literally sing ANYTHING, he has been on her show, and there is a mutual respect with the two of them so it was very fitting that she would sing that song for him….just EPIC! 💗

She did backing for A LOT of people (including him) in the 80s/90s but has a very impressive career of her own. Two of her biggest hits are She's In Love With The Boy, Walkaway Joe (ft. Don Henley) and starring a then unknown Matthew Mcconaughey. Oh, and In Another's Eyes, with Garth. The story behind that is great, if you can find the video of how it came about.

The songs I connect to the most are the emotional songs ("Learning To Live Again" and "More Than A Memory") or the inspirational ones ("The River" and "Standing Outside The Fire"). But my all time favorite has to be "The Change". But, in my humble opinion, no matter which you choose to listen to you can't go wrong with this artist.
