    I’ve also learned that if you’re at an event and they don’t have wifi, you can still take credit/debit payments in the “offline” mode in Square and they will process the next time you do have wifi. 👍🏻

    You are very knowledgeable and have a lot of energy and it shows you love what you do. My one suggestion is to SLOW DOWN A LITTLE. Its hard to follow you without have to replay over and over again. Don't lose the excitement but slow down when it comes to the step by step explanation. Thank you.

I'm in the process of making my website/sales portal through Square, and I'd love to see that in a part 2, if that's possible. Thanks!

For example: I’m wondering if I can add a note at the time of payment stating that if they are buying something with eyes or buttons that they acknowledge the item is not for children under 3 years of age. Maybe I’m just being paranoid but just thinking of any sort of liabilities and having a record that they were informed.

Of course, you are free to turn tips on! But I think a better approach would be to set your prices from the beginning so that you feel comfortable with the income that generates, and not fell like tips are necessary to have!

    Ok lets say sales tax is 9% but then they charge another 2.6% and 10cent ? So to make your money back you'll have to charge 12.6%?

    This is super helpful for those of us who are jusy starting off. About the taxes: do you also recommend charging tax on cash payments? And what do you mean you had to 'eat up the cost" when doing taxes? Thanks!

    • @camryns_cute_creations
      @camryns_cute_creations  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey there! So "eating the cost" means essentially not accounting for taxes in the pricing of a product. So, that means I would not raise the price of something in order to reduce the impact taxes have on the overall profit I have for that individual product. It is still being taxed, but the financial burden of the tax swings in my direction rather than the customer's.
      And for your cash question: if you have a business license, you need to be collecting taxes on all transactions where those taxes are applicable!

      No minimum, but its a waste of money under $5, unless you add a credit card usage fee with keeps your customer from trying to charge a dollar, instead of paying you the cash.
