    FANTASTIC!!!
Some of the best I've seen of this genre. Great narration...all info quick and clear and concise, and a lotta fun with the hot tub/hot seat humor;-) Excellent camera work and editing. Not a complaint, but I'd like to see a little more ground-/eye-level footage of the jobs. This video is so good it's a sufficient supplement so I can stay content with my 2.5x3 Z just watching this kinda vid to see large scale I'd otherwise be dreaming to tackle at home (and certainly couldn't). Great weathering, scenery (really eye-pleasing lines to all directions of panoramas, plus the location and time period you've set it in is my favorite. Bravo to your whole club, and for producing and presenting such fantastic hobbyist enthusiast vids.

thanks Chris - I really appreciate your feedback. It's not really a club - I built the layout singlehandedly. Thanks for your suggestion of including more ground level footage.

This is my favorite ops youtube channel to watch. Keep up the good work.

I like your car tab idea. I plan to use it on my N-scale layout as I begin to move beyond construction, wiring, and scenery work and more in the direction of operations. Operations with a group of guys looks like a lot of fun. ...Roy

Came across this while trying to get up to date on your videos as a new subscriber. I was surprised and pleased to see Ollie Melhouse. He was a fellow member of the N scale club in Denver while we were both living there.

Yes, Ole's in the top three on the Oregon Joint Line seniority list in terms of number of sessions he's made and I've probably attended 25 sessions on his N scale Dakota Northern layout in North Fort Worth. I'll tell him you recognized him Jerry!

You answered my question...I was wondering why somebody couldn't of made roof tags longtime ago....I don't have a layout or dcc or I would of done it long time ago....NICE WORK GUYS!!!

I think the issue is just that they're ugly, so you have to decide whether your focus is on a model that looks like the real thing or one that works like the real thing. Different people have different priorities.

As I get closer to Operations on my N scale layout I am also considering the car tab system. I have been in contact with another fellow who uses car tabs but am very curious as to how yours is set up. Do you have information somewhere that I may study or pilfer from? :-) Thanks Allan

Chris Palmieri has a detailed description of my car tab system on his blog page meridianspeedway.weebly.com/car-tabs-on-np-oregon-joint-line.html

I'd like to see this redone in the style of your recent videos. That would be super interesting. Have you gotten more rolling stock in the last couple of years?

nice "meltdown" replication... reminded me of my time on the UP right after they took over the SP... UP big bosses jammed SPs houston englewood humpyard choked the you- know- what out of it... stopped the ENTIRE national rail network... our yard in milwaukee every track was jammed... i would show up to work and we wouldn't get a switchlist for (2-3) HOURS it was bad
