That is me in the green shirt with the BN hat. That was my first time there, and it was a lot of fun. What an awesome layout.

Great video very nice layout like the walk around tour, Very open double decked layout. If you get the chance to visit Lowell Smith's Oregon Trunk layout it was originally built in the Hobbysmith store that he owned. It is now in his shop in Prineville Or,. Yes he is the one that makes all those passenger trains in Nscale.
I worked this line on the Union Pacific local side, brakeman off the Albina extraboard from 1990 to 1993. We started at The Dalles, Or. yard at 0800 tied our power onto the train built by the The Dalles switcher earlier. with warrents cleared on the UP and BN we departed east and we entered at OT junction onto to BN main to head west to Bend, Or., we used at the time 2 sd-40-2's. Then we switched Prineville, Or. then yarding train in the BN joint yard at Bend. Tied down the power in the old Bend engine house tracks. Then walked to the hotel for rest. And did just the reverse starting at Bend back to The Dalles yard to end our trip. There still are or was several wooden boxcars and an wood caboose from the early 1900's at or around South Junction where the UP entered the SP&S mainline to Bend. The UP (OSL) also had a switcher stationed at Bend to switch the town of Redman industries. Which was all given to the BN after the Frasier Slide was open back up from Oregon to California.
Thanks again for the tour it brings back memories.
