Thanks so much for checking out my playthrough, David! It is a wonderful design -- so many great decisions in a quick to play and easy to learn card game. I still have a lot to learn to get better, but I'm looking forward to it. Thanks again!
Thanks John! I try to find a good balance, quickly going over setup mostly to orient the viewer, establish setting and introduce components. But I like to keep it to 2 minutes max. Thanks for watching!
Your videos are sooooo good!! Thank you so much! Each one I watch is not only incredibly helpful in showing how a game plays but also helpful in terms of whether it’s a game I’d enjoy playing and therefore wish to purchase. I watch a lot of your content and am so grateful Shaggy. Thank you!
Thank you for the video! I was finally able to snag a new copy of this last week and got it to the table after watching your video. Got 12 victory points on my first try, so was pretty happy with that.
Oh man, this came right on time. I've been trying this one a bit lately, but I am soooo bad at it! It was nice to see someone else play it to get an idea of what I could do differently. I think the main difference is that I am way too reluctant to give up maquis by playing their revealed power.
We probably could learn from each other Single Meeple. Finding that right balance really is tricky and makes for great decisions. This is my go-to nighttime quick game for a while. Thanks!
I’ve managed to find a second hand copy of this on eBay after watching your video. I can’t wait to play it. I love Maquis and while this game is very different it seems like it will provide another great, thematic experience.
Yeah, for a simple card game the theme really comes through. You really feel the tension and the weight of impossible odds. It is very well done. Thanks for checking out the video!
I totally missed the part in the title that said "Playthrough", ha, and thought this was going to be an in-depth rules review, but I think seeing a few rounds of play definitely taught me how to play. I'm looking forward to delving into it myself soon! Thanks.
I'm happy you ended up checking the video out. I do instructional playthroughs because I find it the best way to learn a game. Getting the rules within the context of play just makes everything so much easier to understand, at least for my brain. Thanks for checking us out and I appreciate the comment. Hope you enjoy Resist once you get it tabled!
Thanks so much. I'm glad you enjoyed the playthrough. I find this game really difficult and filled with drama. Great solo card game. Thanks for watching!
Damn, this game seems to be incredibly tough!! But I love the artwork and the double-functions of the maquis-cards, so clever, probably a buy for me, once it's out
This was the first time I drafted my deck and I think I did an awful job. I've done much better with a random deck. But it does seem hard at the moment. I think I'm too quick to reveal. Great game. I can wait to try the campaign and scenarios. Thanks Henne!
@@TotallyTabled oh you for sure did empty your deck quite fast 😂😂 and I assume this game needs some sort of a learning-curve on how to use the abilities best. Sometimes losing is the way to go to achieve the win 😉 and your playthrough really made me curious about that game, so it's definitely a win 😁😁
Good question. For the type of game, I think the replayability is very high. You have multiple scenarios you can play with different rules, and a three game campaign. But even the regular game is very replayable for me. Thanks for watching!
I find it so difficult -- but there are categories of winning and I've managed a few of them. Some people seem to know that they are doing, but I'm not one of them. Still, love the game. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching!
I asked a silly question about Grunts and removed my comment... but too late: you have already responded ^^ So I'm here to thank you for your kindness, your channel is really great! 🙂
Did I say there was no replayability? I like this game very much, but I keep hearing that Witchcraft improves on the system. So maybe try that one first? But I think this is a very interesting, beautiful and difficult card game and I would recommend it. Thanks for watching!
I cannot believe this: first it was Maquis and now it is Resist that I cannot get ! This was such a let down for me because I think I could manage both on a table tray. Hey Ho, never mind ! AAKR.
That sucks that it isn't available. I know they have a new version that they just crowdfunded, but I thought Resist was a big enough hit that it would be easy to get. Sorry. Hopefully things change.
Thanks so much for the video! Glad you’re digging the game!

My two favorite sentences in game videos: "I've already done the setup." and "I'll explain the rules as I play." 😄👍 Well done!

There's so much emerging narrative goodness in this game! It's very thematic!

Thank you for your play though videos, helps to iron out gaps from the rulebook
You are very welcome. I'm glad my video helped. Thanks so much for checking out my channel!
Great playthrough. Hope to get mine to the table soon.
Thanks for watching Peter. Hope you enjoy it when you get it to the table.
Just got the game. Excellent playthrough with clear and concise explanations. Thank you 😊
I'm glad you think so. Thanks so much. I hope you enjoy your plays of the game. Good luck. It is a tough one!
What an excellent video! The rulebook was a little unclear but your playthrough helped me out a ton!!! Thank you! Wish me luck!
Good luck! You'll need it! 😁 I'm glad the video was helpful. Thanks for watching!

Heard about the game on a Podcast. Your playthrough was excellent, very clear. Looks like a tence game.
Thanks so much. I'm glad you enjoyed the playthrough. I find this game really difficult and filled with drama. Great solo card game. Thanks for watching!
Excellent, now I'm ready to play, thanks!
Hope you enjoy your play. It is very difficult and/or I'm terrible at it. But I always have a good time. Thanks for watching!
@@TotallyTabled my maquis didn't last too long either. There is fun here to come back to!

Yeah, I think my main mistake was I didn't draft enough hidden strength, so I felt compelled to reveal. Definitely learning. Maybe. 😁
Great video. Thank you
Thanks so much! I'm happy you enjoyed the playthrough!
Excellent video. Thank you
Thank you for checking out the playthrough!
Thank you for this.

Great playthrough as always!
Thanks so much designiana!
The mechanics really interest me, hows the replayability?

This one is on the way. Looks great but I don’t know if I’ll ever win. Looks impossible.

No problem, Fabio. Thanks for the compliment!
Hi, will you be having a playthrough of Witchcraft? Its by the same designers and I believe its a reimplementation of this game.
Yeah, I missed that one and would love to get my hands on it. Not sure what kind of retail release it is getting. Thanks!
Any feedback this long after? You still believe there's no replayability? 😊 Thinking about getting it as a PnP.

How can I get this game in India???
This game might be difficult to get right now. The newer version called Witchcraft might be easier to get once it hits retail. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the playthrough. I'm just waiting for this game to be released to retail.🥲
Hopefully it will be released soon, SH. I think it is a great light card game. And such beautiful artwork. Thanks SH!

@@edward.miranda Really? Oh wow. I just got my KS and assumed retail would follow soon after. That's too bad.
