You don't need the screens - Neither VP nor Geoff block videos from reactors. Still doing everything themselves, still avoiding managers, producers, labels. The bass is Geoff Castellucci - he also has a private channel with amazing music. The beautiful breathy voice from the man 2nd from the right - that's Cesar, the newest member. Listen to "I Can't Make You Love Me" for a real treat from Cesar. Far right is Layne, baritone, beatbox, and here - vioLayne. Geoff arranged this one. Please react to some more - I enjoyed this one.
J.None was previously a full member of VoicePlay but was apprpached by the US Navy to sing with them. He returns when on leave from the navy to sing with VP. Many were surprised that an a capella group would attempt Metallica but I swear VoicePlay can do anything they try. And do it brilliantly.
I am very old and never listened to metal music, did not this one at all. When it came out on Patreon I listened to it a dozen times a day for two weeks before it was out on TH-cam. Absolutely glorious. I am enoying the emotional reaction from people who already loved the song. You were touched by the tone of the young man next to the beatboxer. Cesar de la Rosa is the newest member of Voiceplay. Be sure to react to their cover of I Can't Make You Love Me, he has a much larger role in that one. Subscribed in anticipation of more Voiceplay!
This is VoicePlay - you don't need to worry about being blocked. Go ahead and let the view be what they decided it should be. They did the violin solo instead of the guitar solo. Layne, the beatboxer, baritone and violinist is now known as VioLayne.
Thank you for a great reaction to Voice Play. Please do a reaction video of Voice Plays cover " Dream On " originally by Aerosmith. Voice Play knocks it out of the ball park. Also Voice Plays cover " Carry On Wayward Son " by Kansas. Voice Play knocks this one out of the ball park as well.
I really enjoyed your reaction and appreciation of Voice Play- thanks! You would love their cover of Warriors for more "Violayne". As others have stated, they do all of their own production without any record label or contract so you don't need to worry about placing screens, blocks or copyright strikes the way Pentatonix has.
They did a wonderful job on this song like they do with everything else! It's sounds like you really like the bass' voice if you don't know he's Geoff Castellucci and he has a solo channel where he sings low bass covers of songs.
J.None is an earlier, full-time member of Voiceplay (you'll see him in older videos of theirs like 'Queen in Five Minutes,' 'Carry On My Wayward Son,' 'The Oogie Boogie Song,' 'This Is Halloween' and a load more from that era.) He's doing a stint with the US Navy now, but I have a suspicion that Voiceplay are using their current 'guest artist' strategy as a way of keeping a place open for him to return permanently again some time in the future, when his Navy service ends (hence why Cesar is now the permanent replacement for Earl, but the 'guest spot' remains.)
