Only some of the newer forms are slow exercise only when the neigong and martial applications are not know and taught. Older styles of Yang, Wu and even modern Chen have fast forms, explosive moves including jump kicks and in Old Yang even a spinning flying jump kick. One look at those authentic forms and you know this isn't just for the elderly in fact unless the elderly started practicing that as children they may not be able to reach the skill necessary to do those kicks correctly. Don't forget 2 person free form sparring, 2 person fast sets, and all the same martial techniques of other arts but using internal power or Jin instead of muscular force or Li. Bruce did not learn high level authentic Tai Chi Chuan. It's the shame most of the art isn't taught anymore but there are masters teaching more complete systems even online now with seminars training to complement online. In my opinion more just used tai chi for health and. There is nothing wrong with that. But I can show you on it can be. Used in today fight. Ima black belt two time.but I just mess around. With tai chi. I just think it. Got. So watered down in my opinion
Sifu Liang De Hua and Sifu Adam Mizner are two that come to mind.
i love how he's got that attitude, this world would have been different without him
In Cantonese, "Tai kyuk kune".
It's so similar to Japanese, 'Tai kyoku ken'.
It's "Tai Gik Kune." Of course it's similar, since Japanese uses many Chinese words.
