Bose systems definitely thump in some cars, a friend has one in his Infiniti and it sounds really good outside the car, absolutely crap in the car sadly. Its freaking harsh.
True, I had Bose in about 4 different cars now and 2 brands, 3 of all were various audi's and the s6 sounded ok and my current car rs3 8p isn't bad when it comes to treble and the higher notes but bass just sucks, the s6 was the other way around, TT gen 1 was just a joke.
I really don’t rate the Bose in my 718 Cayman S at all. The HK in my M2 is way better- crisper and more depth to the sound. Interestingly the Bose in my old 911 997 2005 Carrera S was far superior- as we did a back to back comparison. I had assumed the Cayman would be as good if not better due to being well over a decade newer… not the case.
Dude! The head mointed camera couldnt be more annoying. Keep the camera still when we’re supposed to be looking at something like the PCM screen, which you can’t zoom in to, let alone hold still!

I disagree, my friend has a Bose audio system in his infinity q 50, and the sound is excellent for the money.

The tweeters are actually located in the upper side air vents in the dash. Just a fyi. Good video. Very informative
