i would say thats quite understandable, in Valheim i also purpusly didnt chop the trees next to my base becasue they looked nice...
I’ve been loving the motivate on the bandits to pull an acolyte from the back and give them fury, then use them as a magic blasting cannon
Mystic will do the same aoe blast and don't need 2 goblin setup to work

I do like that idea about not losing the character until the end of the outing if they're corrupted in a shrine. If they feel that's too minor of a set-back then maybe add in a corruption penalty mid-outing that says they have an X chance to do a random action (or no action) on their turn which scales the longer the outing takes. That way it is still a penalty but at least you'll still have an extra player doing something for you (generally benefiting even if it's random) compared to being a full teammate out for the rest of the outing.

I usually cycle out my goblins once they reach 3 souls, which is typically 6 adventures. I do have a hunter which i've been holding onto for longer though, since I was lucky enough to upgrade his power 4 times at the dark shrine.

Glad events are doable now! They were impossible early game. Definitely agree that soul farming is the way to go. Needing 50 is going to take a while to farm up

An interesting thing to note - Intercept and Guard seem to become more expensive in time cost with Guru upgrades.

6:00 just seeing it once, it looks like retaliate can trigger on a guard, but not an intercept. And the 2 damage it did is just because the rat had 2hp

Also also, I have a neat idea for the corrupted gobbo thing that I haven't seen mentioned yet. What if when they become corrupted you get to keep them, but they turn feral and you lose control of them? Like you don't get to decide what move they use or who they attack? What you think?
I like the idea. With a chance to attack your teammates, you'd certainly be sweating when a gobbo gets smacked to low health, and then it's the corrupted goblin's turn.
So the rest of the mission is wacky chaos mode, which may or may not doom you, and could certainly be fun spice, and then you'd be compelled to dismiss the corrupted goblin at the end.
Also, guaranteed some people will do a challenge mode, and attempt to complete the full game with all corrupted goblins. The mad lads.

I would say the issue with the dark shrines isn’t that the risk is too major at 19 percent but that the percentage chance seems to be an out and out lie with this game. Every time I have seen this sort of chance it has worked out to be closer to 60 or even 70 percent rather than 19.
I have a shaman in my team using healing chant it’s a AOE healing for your team

ranged attacks dont seem to trigger a lot of things and its a tank so it makes sense they could only defend against physical attacks and only retalite against melee

Dunno if you know this but swift mending the hinkies bypasses the immunity and hurts them
Wonder if the 60% better healing was bugged or it is arbitrarily fixed to only buff out of combat healing such as at the camp & eating food.

You own a Factory that can produce 5 777 goblins per day, they are expendable. Use them, retire them, gain souls! Any unused goblin that you dismiss instead of retiring is a waste
If it works like Pokemon Move Bide, you might be taking in two turns of damage before unleashing damage
On rigth clic you can pompact and convert materials on the misions, I have lerned 10min ago xD
I haven't seen anyone call it out yet:
Defensive isn't as great as it sounds... Every time you use guard or intercept the +1 armor for those abilities is overwriting the +5 from the perk (so you lose -4); and when you do retaliate, you lose all 5... and I've no idea why. I guess maybe it's meant more for damage mitigation on non-tanks because of this? Or it's just bugged *shrug*.
The game had to think about that one at 1:00:44 lol

Ferocious is kinda bad right now. It’s bugged and only works for the first attack your goblin does per fight. After that, the trait goes inactive and you’ll need to reactivate for every mew fight.
Run an all hunter team
Maybe the retaliates wording is wrong and it's trying to say that you will retaliate after you've been attacked twice
Probably you can only retaliate on mele attack
I have a slight feeling a lot of the weird mechanics of this game are just bugs,the game is also just not rendering most eyes now,I hope your save file is safe
Btw one of the upgrades also increased to time cost of intercept to 3,and Im not sure that one is also intended
Suffering from success. Too many OP goblins. Might as well just keep alternating them out after a mission to "retire" them, but keep your breeders so you don't end up being unable to replace goblins via breeding because they are all related.

Sure there are some wierd folks around saying stupid shit. but hey thats what peps do. they cant play the game better. or maby they cant even get the game. and they just want to bring others down. So ignore them. play the games you enjoy. and that can make other ppl enjoy them with you. !!

As someone that has studied software engineering and works with code, holy shit this game code is so badly designed that 😢😢😢
Im so unimpressed with acolyte and bandits. I rather have 2 shaman and a Mystic (Mystic, shaman, shaman, hunter, Guard, Raider)
Raider is all about speed and crits.
Guard will take hit usually right after raider and has 2 stuns.
hunter beast bane.
Shaman x2 mass damage spells and 1 mass heal spells. mass damage spells, pair well with bleed and slow weapon.
mystic big boom and spreading damage.
this line up gets stupid with Ruthless genetic perk, constantly for every kill by everyone but tank increases their power. Especially on hunter and raider. the + power carries until the end of the dungeon and by the time you reach final boss they are just broken.
p.s. how broken raider can get?
I had to file a bug report because raider was too fast for the math in game:
Exterminate (kill) after Fully upgraded Sudden Strike III caused game to get stuck
Performing Exterminate that kills, i.e. 1 turn back, while under inspiration and haste created by Sudden Strike III (Fully upgrade) Cause Combat to freeze, with no access to menus.
