Handling that little loading apparatus with that onet string/cable to hold the load in its place kinda reminds me of my days when I had to drive remote controlled cranes to balance 1-2 tons bags of either salt or steel balls that went into the prosess. When the load started swinging it was pretty hard to get that on/off working ceiling crane to balance that swinging, but it was totally possible. :D
Just wanted you to know that your videos are a wonderful break from my current life situation. Thanks! Ps... I love your Timberborn series, watch all of em on repeat... even caused me to buy Timberborn 😅😊😊
This game is my childhood. As a kid, I watched my favourite youtubers play it. I've almost forgotten about this game, but I clicked instantly, when I saw your video pop up
i remember driving heavy equipment for my job for the first time. skid steer was so fun to drive. but the loaders and excavators felt like you could take out anything
That water pipe looks like a main distribution pipe. I work at my local water treatment plant and that is very similar to the pipes we have in the plant. (I live in the US) I believe the pipes are a type of PVC.
Fellow engineer here, geomatics (which has nothing to do with geology or geography), for @18:19 unless it's an accent thing, I believe you are in stuck a crevice, not a crevasse. Crevices are cracks in rocks, crevasses are cracks in ice.
Ah yes, we'll make a demo simulator so people can understand what ots like to run your own construction company. *Matt does a bunny hop in a skid steer*
This game looks fun. They should add a grapple truck so you can remove the ground debris yourself. It’s like a big boy claw machine 😂 so I think people would enjoy it
There is definitely a point when simulator ganes take things too far and it becomes boring and unnecessarily tedious. A certain ship dismantling game comes to mind
"It's supposed to be plastic or concrete" Yes, Matt. It's supposed to be, but the United States where you have a large amount of old infrastructure that was installed 50 to 80 years ago, it's not surprising and never should be surprising if you run across cast iron and steel (and in some places even lead) instead.😂

Wherein RCE confirms why all those years ago I was told "Never let the engineers on the iron".
Tried this when I was a kid and the game was called Construction Destruction, and it was crap but the best we had
Ah yes, as an architect is the natural nemesis of an engineer, so is an engineer is a natural nemesis of a construction worker

No morning safety meeting
I'm a surveyor and we frequently have to dig near power poles and it always stresses me out 😂
Also didn't wear ear protection, -1 for being deaf at the end of the job.

3:52 "I just wanna try and peg the other colon." - RCE (allegedly)
It's what I heard, so it's canon for me!
As an actual heavy equipment operator, watching you run equipment gave me anxiety.
Also, here in the States, we call it a pecker too. 😂
I mean, I've seen the videos, it must be quite common

We call it "Presslufthammer"

Love it when Matt plays these oddly specific construction sims and he can just nerd out about the details.
0:18 So there were 3 guys in hard hats and he managed to miss them all.
RCE didn't claim that hexagons are the bestagons at 16:40!?
Because they aren’t… triangles are the best-agons
i was expexting that line as well lol

6 triangles make: A hexagon.
Triangles want to be hexagons.
Hexagons are the bestagons.
@@TheCreatureThatExists Nah, hexagons are just 6 triangles in a trenchcoat
Giving an engineer powertools is like giving a 5 year old fireworks and a lighter, just much less safe.

Look up "suspended excavator" and gawk at the excavators standing on more or less sheer cliff faces, digging away.
Ladder? When you've got a perfectly good skid steer that could easily lift you. I don't see any safety inspectors around, it'll be fine.
8:15 OSHA is not happy you did not put the wood on the ground b4 exiting and using it
the immediate "Do I have a ladderOH I HAVE A LADDER!!!" 😂
It's not called a Jackhammer in France either
There they call it a Jacquehammer
Really??

I was gonna say a similar thing. A lot of old municipal plumbing is iron.

Power Wash Simulator has some pretty good lookin' updates Matt!
I see Matt's reading comprehension is starting off strong this episode
Sweet, I was hoping that RCE would play this one
Put a *Paddy* in charge? Of what, being on the dole?
Wow the new Teardown update looks pretty good.
