Wow, just one day after release of this video, it's been viewed 2000 times already and gotten 143 likes. Awesome :) I'll make more videos for you guys! Right now we're on a trip to Trollstigen and Geiranger.
Looking back at these videos, there were challenges that we don't face today. Charging is made so simple now adays that these times are almost forgotten. We have lived with a EV for over 10 years now, and times have definitely changed. Love seeing the young Bjørn and his then new wife. Been following since the first trip to Trondheim 😊
These trips might be my favorite TH-cam series- I get to know all these beautiful places, how the Tesla is day to day and you and your wife's adventures with this car; truly, truly wonderful. This must be really fun for you Bjorn, You're making Tesla friends everywhere in Europe ( even though this video thing must just suck up a lot of time!) Ps( Martin has an amazing house)
When we were there in April, I was working with Alstom and they got us into Versailles through a back way, so we did not have to stand in the queue - or pay. Very lucky. A beautiful experience for our boys to see everything there.
What a great show! Watching your videos is like watching the "ARTE Reportage" or something on arte.tv. Really. Nice, interesting and very informative. Great job Bjorn! Thank you.
it is sooo interesting to watch your journey! All i wanted was to watch tesla eurotrip for a few mins, but now 40mins flew by as a second and im still extremely interested to watch it till the end! Thank you!
Awesome video as usual-Beautiful countries and great friends along the way. Nice to see the new Superchargers being built. Thanks for sharing your travels. Best regards to you and your Wife.
Fantastic Bjorn, thanks to you and wifey for sharing your trip. I think it will stand in great contrast to the charger situation in the years to come. Hopefully in France as well. ;-) Thanks again and keep up the great videos.
1:30:25 I can't believe you've been there. It is just 50 km away from my hometown and I've never expected that you and your wife visit this part of Germany :) Last year, we made a trip with our bicycles along this river (called "Weser") and crossed the exact same ferry. By the way, thank you for all these great videos. They're very inspiring and humorous. Best regards from good old Germany ;-)
Nice video for the second half. As usual always enjoy your video. Even though throughout europe not many electric chargers but it is an eye opener that in the modern days now that there are still a lot of nice hearted people that are willing to help you and act as a good host around their hometowns. Good job bjorn, await your next videos. Cheers
TBH never thought that I would spend several hours to watch such videos, but I just love yours ones and I am addicted to them ;) Many greetings from the Volt/Ampera electric car scene to the Tesla scene! :)
Hi Bjorn, Thank you very much for your information about an actual long driving video with Tesla Model S. I have ordered this car in Tokyo Japan and am waiting for 9 months for the delivery. I can't wait for Tesla Model S after I saw your video on the youtube. Thanks again and looking forward to seeing the next your journey on youtube.
Another great video! I liked the photos you made at the Eiffel tower. That was cool! :-) I also liked that small ferry you got on. We have a very similar one near Montreal. It is powered by the stream's current. The motor is only used to orient the boat in the current. A very enjoyable vicarious trip. Thanks!
Seems like really nice people in Europe. I like the fact that they offer you to stay in their house and free charging, great video. I think I almost watched all of your videos.
Awesome as always! The max 30 min sign is about the Tesla parking. We got the same in Holland. If there aren't many chargers and many Tesla owners coming they came up with this idea I guess.. P.S. I went to Ålesund in the summer and I recognised a lot of places thanks to your videos, that was a lot of fun!
Bjørn Nyland Finally I got the time to watch this video. It was awesome, thanks a lot to bring me into the credits! :-) Once you are back in germany, maybe for another round on Nordschleife, you maybe would like to visit Wuppertal also, my Hometown. It has a really cool electric transportation called "Schwebebahn" (hanging Mono Railway). Keep going do this stuff!
Thank you Bjørn, great video. Your wife is usually very quiet, except when she can't get thai food as expected 1:05:30. My wife and me had a good laugh about this episode. Unfortunately i don't own a Tesla, but had the luck to try one this summer, actually in Middelfart, Denmark where you made a stop for charging. It's a great car to drive and also very fast indead. The house in the background where you stopped for charging in Randers, Denmark, is actually a copy of Graceland, the home of Elvis. It's a museum about Elvis with a lot of his personal stuff and even a american style restaurant. So next time you stop here to fill up the battery, do it in the opening hours and visit the museum. I live in Randers so maybe I can do you company and show you the rest of the city. :-)
She talks a lot, but I usually don't film it because it would be a lot to sub :) Yeah, next time I'm charging at Graceland I should visit the museum. But it's only open in the daytime? I have only been there in the evening. But now that the SC corridor via Sweden is up, I will most likely take that route rather than the Hirtshals ferry.
Great work Bjorn! Keep the videos coming! My right hand drive Model S should be delivered in December - can't wait :) I'm looking forward to some free road trips too.
Thank you for uploading! I feel relaxed after watching these long Tesla videos. I would be interested to see what happens next after all of the superchargers are put up! Again, bravery for leaving your camera sort-of unattended as well as being able to eat some of that food 0_o
great video! I know how much work is in videos like this. I'm looking forward to your next trip hopefully with more superchargers around france ;) greetings from switzerland
Great video, or rather a full-length movie - it's almost 3.5 h long :) I liked that you tried to perfect every shot, also by setting the camera rolling while you were leaving some place. It takes a bit of effort, but with the great editing, the final effect is amazing. Too bad there are still no superchargers in Poland, but Tesla's planning to build 5 of them in 2015. Poland is generally quite backward regarding EV, there's still very little public chargers. I hope this will change during the next few years. If so and if you decide to visit Poland one day, come to Gdańsk and say hi! ;)
Great video Man! Now should be really easier with Supercharger almost everywhere ans still expending. Just to let you know, if you come back to Versailles, you can book in advance the tickets on internet. You will then directly skip the queue! ;) Hope you liked our country! :)
Hi Bjorn. This is such a wonderful series. Hope you keep making more. Is there any way you could make a small production on the types of chargers, connectors, pros and cons ? Look forward to your next vid. Cheers.
Hi Bjorn, I discovered your channel one week ago and already watch 20/25 videos. I would say they are great! I'm interested a lot in Teslas because I'm leading a student project building an hybrid car ;) I was amazed because you were near where I live when you passed Dijon ;) Keep doing good videos and if you come back to France, I would be glade to help you :)
I get so happy then I watch your movies and espacially this one! It helps me in the waiting for the Model X that will come "soon". Your movies are feel good movies with drama and I can hardly wait for your next one. I like it then you speak Thai because wifey smiles even more then you speak Thai (Koi wao pasa Thai baa dai kapp... ;) Then you said you were happy panda, were you thinking of Chuang Chuang or Lin Ping? If you are going on a trip to Sweden this summer and passing Kalmar you are welcome to visit us and get some Kuay Tiew, Som Tam and maybe some Nam Nuang.
that is what I was waiting for. Great that You are showing everyone that it is possible to use EV car in normal life! Hope all superchargers which are on Tesla site will be available next year than it will be much easier to visit almost all Europe without waisting time for standard chargers. Wish You luck on Your other trips and hope to see them here :)
Bjørn Nyland I hope to get my MS before next holidays and go for the tour but we will see how it will be. But the true is that more SCs will make trip much more faster and allow to spend more time in destination places enjoying visiting :) Can You do a little description about how much time You loos for charging in public chargers (when You were not doing anything else only waiting for car, so charging while sleeping etc won't be included)? I check how much money You saved - comparing with Your trip in BMW E60, and it looks really nice :) Best regards!
maksiim For the most part, I always find something useful to do while waiting for charging. That includes sleeping, eating, planning next destination, calling people to make appointments, etc. I think the wasted time was when was looking for chargers that weren't there, didn't work or needed some weird ID.
Bjørn Nyland Oh yeah, the weird ID thing is crazy! 30 euro for a card and 0.17 per kWh? It's like they're delivering gas to a gasoline generator to make the power or something at that price! OK, that's kind of based on electricity prices in the US, but I've seen the prices charged at public charging stations where I live and they're charging 5X more than the electricity costs to charge-- more than burning gasoline! Why are so many people so backwards? We're not living in caves anymore!
babybirdhome I think what they're trying to achieve is to get some of the money back from investing in a charging station. But it's backwards to think like that. No gas station charge you 2x more just to get the investment for building the pumps, gast station, etc.
Hej Bjorn, thanks for your awesome videos... do you remember the 30 Minutes on Tesla Parking .... that´s because the thought that perhaps sometimes there will be more Teslas, so than it´s only allowed to charged for 30 minutes that the next tesla can comes to charged... ( so you are not to allowed to let your car there for charging over night until your are sleeping in an hotel near the charging station ... Thanks for your passion ....
I actually asked the Tesla supercharger team about this. They say the sign applies for regular cars. Teslas can park there as long as they like. However, it's not recommended to park there longer than needed because other will need the charging spot.
Thank you for sharing this with us. I felt from your video some kind of tension and fear that your car can stop before finding any charger. I own a toyota hybrid I did 2 times this kind of trips ( any of them bigger than 10K kilometers) . When i was tripping car gave me a very secure feeling that nothing bad can happen . Maybe in the future Tesla will update software to the point when you can really enjoy that big screen and superchargers will be correctly placed at any gas station... but for now it's a wild thing to do trips bigger that area you are in.
Great video Bjørn! Next time you could come to Ljubljana since we have a SC now :) I'm curious about the battery degradation after your driven kilometers? Greetings from Slovenia!
Hi Bjorn: Thanks for your videos, I enjoyed your "real life" action. One thought: you drove several thousand miles across Northern Europe in the summer with temps 70-80F. I never saw one video with the Pano roof open. Do you ever use it or is it really a waste of money to get it on the Model S? Even in hotter climates, if humid, one needs the AC on. Best Stuart Flechner Ohio
I'm not too big fan of opening the panorama roof. At high speed, the noise is too loud and the energy consumption is higher than using AC. However, in Norway I often see people with wide open panorama roof on sunny days. Not only does it bring more light in the cabin. It also gives a somewhat cabriolet feeling.
Nice video! Thank you. Why didn't you go to London/UK? Do you think you will visit London/UK in the next European road trip? I suggest you do, Its really beautiful and it has superchargers all over.
Bjorn, I must admit, i am now always looking forward to your next video. You are making a dent to the economy :) 120 min x 7000 viewers. =840,000 minutes of consumption :). You should be hitting a million minutes soon
The most expected movie after TIME FRAMED: Time Framed Official Trailer - Ian Somerhalder :-) Thank you so much. Hope to see you in Berlin next year :-) Chris
I just spent over three hours watching your two vacation videos. I hope to order my Model S by the end of 2015. Keep up the videos, and I really need to visit some places out of the USA. Also I will now have to explain yo my wife that its your fault I've began saying "holy crap" the way you do. XD
+Tony Jose Ha-ha! Dude! I'm still shooting for one soon. Maybe in June! Wife graduates nursing school in a couple of weeks and we should be all set after getting settled! Come back here in June! lol
Great video as always. I'm sure it's been said before. But, having a Tesla kind of forces you to stop and enjoy life and maybe do things you normally wouldn't due to the length of charge.
weird to see 'strammer max' made with salami sausage, or maybe it's 'mettwurst', but either way. weird. it's supposed to be cured or smoked ham on there :| but great videos, as usual. i really enjoyed this and it makes me want a tesla more and more. i looked at the new supercharger map and you should have a much easier time travelling next summer. i particularly liked to see the bit in frankfurt, my old hometown, although i haven't been able to visit in 4 years now :( take care you two, hälsningar från sverige!
Hi Björn, Thanks for the fascinating video. Just a question. Why do use a Mennekes In-Cable-Control-Unit for charging with SchuKo? The UMC should have an appropriate adapter. Thanks and bye Walter
It's an old habit I guess. Until earlier this year, the UMC couldn't start and stop charging. That's why Tesla gave me the Mennekes for free. I like the Mennekes because it's short.
Great video once again loved watching it on my Panasonic 65" tv with the family , trying to explain to them that it's costing you nearly Absolutely free to travel between destinations and completely carbon free , it would be my dream to do this and cannot wait for an affordable mass market electric car with the range of a tesla
Awesome work as always, Bjorn! The photos at the Eiffel tower were worth the trip alone! :) I want to ask, have you seen the Saleen Tesla modifications? What is your opinion of it? Keep up the good work, the wait was long, but boy, well worth it!
Although i didn't dislike the look of it, i also agree that stock look is better for this car, specially in black with 21"s. :) and what you thought about the Zoe?
Bjørn Nyland Also, what you are your thoughts on the i8 you saw and the i3? i would love to see you do reviews on new electric cars, i think after 72k km, you have good experience and a good base for comparison with the Tesla.
Hugo Fernandes The i3 looks horrible. Even my wife thinks it. The i8 on the other hand looks awesome. But unfortunately it has no luggage area or rear seat space. Yeah, I should test drive other cars and review them. The only real test would be to take them, one by one, on a weekend trip. I will have to limit how far I drive though.
Very nice Björn, it is obvious your videos are becoming more professional... BTW do you get any "official" reaction from TESLA after releasing a video?
Bjørn Nyland While watching the video and all the fuss about finding chargers, I wondered if you ever got towed with the Tesla... or have you ever come close to getting stranded/getting towed?
Awesome video. Very good English. Its like Rick Steve's Europe, minus the annoying host (sorry Rick). Ferry that thing over to the US... Even in my little city (southwest Wisconsin) we have Tesla recharging stations.
Bjørn Nyland Its terrible difficult having the overwiew sitting in model S, and driving down garages with left curves... The car is constant peeping, and is not showing the distance in display how close you REALLY are... Stops around 20 cm? The car is to low and to wide beeing possible having control :-)
Bjørn Nyland Ah, ok, I think I made confusion between the single phase voltage that is indeed 230 V and the line to line voltage that is 230* sqrt(3) V = 400 V. Thanks...almost forgot : excellent video, indeed !
Kjempe artig video!
Im 15 years old, and tesla model s p85+ really is my dream car, but i live in Denmark and the car taxes are extremely high, so this car with all the stuff you got in it would cost around 1 million danish crowns, around 200k dollars. I really have no idea how i would ever be able to afford a car like this:)
Have you been to UK Bjorn? It would be great to see you here! Superchargers have been installed here in Birmingham and London so far! You could come over and I could cook you one of my famous curries! :-)
LOVED THE VIDEOS. your wife has a name right. I forgot it sorry. I personally love for you to subtitle her and yourself and then you 2 can speak freely in Thai. I'm sure she would have more fun and enjoy the process more. Just a thought. Keep up the good work. Maybe Tesla would sponsor you on a Bjorn road trip in the USA WITH A BRAND NEW X. WOW THAT WOULD BE A GREAT WAY TO SPEND YOUR NEXT HOLIDAYS! Oops .
What language are you speaking when you'r speaking to your wife? And also, you are Norwegian but where is your wife from? I presume that she isn't Norwegian as she doesn't seem to speak English. /Tesla owner wannabe from Sweden :)
Watching your trip and struggles with finding a working, fast charger I wonder why wont some gas station chain introduce Type 2 chargers, or even collaborate with Tesla to provide even a single 2-car Supercharger. They have infrastructure, convinient way for paying without any subscribtions, cards, etc, some basic services like food, toilets, usually good locations along major routes, in cities, etc. it really sounds like a benefit for all. Until there wiill be an uniform way for both charging and accesing those chargers we will not see an "electric revoltuion" coming because no average citizen wants to bother with stuff like a dozen or more types of plugs or subscribtions when they intend to charge somewhere else than at home. Both US goverment and EU commision try to standarize chargers (they will stay different between this regions due to differences in power supply infrastructure), but still there is a long way to go when despite standarization Tesla needed to go their own way in terms of fast DC charging (and proved that Mennekes-compatible plug can handle 120 kW, while standard mennekes has limited DC charging that I think nobody actually implemented and will be replaced with "type 2 combo" that is bulky and not compatible with standard Mennekes)
Next year is going to be heaven. Ever since we went on this trip, the number of superchargers in Europe have more than doubled, going from 29 to 63. Who knows how many it will be by next summer. In comparison, we never have to look for chargers when we are doing our trips in Norway.
Wow, just one day after release of this video, it's been viewed 2000 times already and gotten 143 likes. Awesome :) I'll make more videos for you guys! Right now we're on a trip to Trollstigen and Geiranger.
You already got the v6 firmware? ;)
Btw: at this time I saw almost every video of your chnl. Good work
Luis Silva Thank you for the feedback :) I don't have 6.0 yet. As soon as I get it I'll do a video review.
I hope soon. Thanks
2015 I want to see a red tesla in Portugal ;)
Europe road trip ##
hi Bjorn nice video man. Wat camera are u using?
Jebaraj Samuel I'm using a Canon HF-G10 and Nikon D7000 with 24-70 mm f/2.8G lens.
Looking back at these videos, there were challenges that we don't face today. Charging is made so simple now adays that these times are almost forgotten. Thank you for watching :)
I have to say that the people that helped you out where great! Cudos to those guys! Also, the video was awsome =)
Thank you :) Yes, we were lucky to get so much help from the nice people =)
Bjorn you're doing a great job getting the experience of travelling and using the next gen's car to the people.
Thank you :)
Excellent video Bjorn! Really enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing your travel experiences with us! Looking forward to the next video!
it is sooo interesting to watch your journey! All i wanted was to watch tesla eurotrip for a few mins, but now 40mins flew by as a second and im still extremely interested to watch it till the end! Thank you!

Yes, next year will be completely different. Already now, there are three times more SCs in Europe since we went on the trip.

It just hit me, with the autopilot on you can take your time and really compose those beautiful countryside shots.

Interesting ferry :)
Cool photos near the Tower.
Seems like really nice people in Europe. I like the fact that they offer you to stay in their house and free charging, great video. I think I almost watched all of your videos.
Awesome trip report! Can't wait for more 👍 I'm looking to pick up a P85 myself and these videos just solidified my decision 😃
I like your long road trip videos, they are very interesting! Thanks for another great video!
Amazing, thanks for making these videos. I cant wait for more :)
Awesome as always! The max 30 min sign is about the Tesla parking. We got the same in Holland. If there aren't many chargers and many Tesla owners coming they came up with this idea I guess..

Martin definitely seems like a super nice all-around good guy! Super nice house to! Love the videos!!!
also Bjorn! u need to wash all that break dust off your rims!!! hahaha
Bjørn Nyland Finally I got the time to watch this video. It was awesome, thanks a lot to bring me into the credits! :-)

Bjørn, I saw a photo you took which Tesla posted on their Instagram account! Nice shot of the Auroras!

Awesome! The most important question: did you get dual charger?
Bjørn Nyland Yes I did! It was the first option I specified :)
what else do you want from life..! A beautiful car and a beautiful wife :-) Nice roadtrip man! cheers!
Thank you for uploading! I feel relaxed after watching these long Tesla videos.
I would be interested to see what happens next after all of the superchargers are put up!
Again, bravery for leaving your camera sort-of unattended as well as being able to eat some of that food 0_o
Bjørn, thanks to you for the pretty interesting video about trip and tesla experience!
Thank you for watching :)
Thank you for video, this is exactly what i was searching for :)
+Alexander Mukha Thank you for watching :)
great video! I know how much work is in videos like this. I'm looking forward to your next trip hopefully with more superchargers around france ;) greetings from switzerland

Hi Bjorn. This is such a wonderful series. Hope you keep making more. Is there any way you could make a small production on the types of chargers, connectors, pros and cons ? Look forward to your next vid. Cheers.
Thank you for watching. Yeah, I should make a video one day about different chargers and its speeds. It will mostly apply for EU though.
Hi Bjorn, I discovered your channel one week ago and already watch 20/25 videos. I would say they are great! Bjørn Nyland I dont have any Tesla yet, hopefully I'll have a Model X in one year from now but I do have a 16A 3-phase 400V atleast.

However, it's not recommended to park there longer than needed because other will need the charging spot.
björn, again a great video, thx
Thank you for the feedback :)
As long as I'm in range of superchargers, I'm never worried. During the 2014 trip, there were only 24 superchargers in Europe. Now there are 125.
Watched both videos of the trip. Now I'm looking forward to easter 2015 trip. When are you going to upload Bjorn??
I liked a lot your trip and your video. Any idea for your next trip to Europe?.
I'm not sure. But as the supercharger network expand, it's possible to do a short weekend trip to northern parts of Europe :)
Great video Bjørn! Next time you could come to Ljubljana since we have a SC now :) I'm curious about the battery degradation after your driven kilometers? Greetings from Slovenia!
good old days huh? what a trip man.

I'm not too big fan of opening the panorama roof. At high speed, the noise is too loud and the energy consumption is higher than using AC. However, in Norway I often see people with wide open panorama roof on sunny days. Not only does it bring more light in the cabin. It also gives a somewhat cabriolet feeling.
hmmmm yeah! ^^
can't wait your next road impressions
keep going!
I'm working on the next one right now. It should be released this week or maybe next week. Oh, yeah! :)
Bjørn Nyland woohoo!
Herr Nyland, das war ein ausgezeichnetes Video! Du musst schnell neue Video machen. Freundlichen Grüßen aus Deutschland.
Nice video!
Thank you.
Why didn't you go to London/UK?
Do you think you will visit London/UK in the next European road trip?
I suggest you do, Its really beautiful and it has superchargers all over.
We didn't have time to go to UK. Next year we're planning on going there though.
really nice videos you have!keep it up!
Thank you for watching :)
Bjorn, I must admit, i am now always looking forward to your next video. You are making a dent to the economy :) 120 min x 7000 viewers. =840,000 minutes of consumption :). You should be hitting a million minutes soon
Wonderful trip :)
Yes, indeed :)
The most expected movie after TIME FRAMED: Time Framed Official Trailer - Ian Somerhalder :-)
Thank you so much. Hope to see you in Berlin next year :-)
Chris
Oh, yes, TIME FRAMED is my favourite TESLA movie, watch it, you´ll love it :-)
I just spent over three hours watching your two vacation videos. I hope to order my Model S by the end of 2015. Keep up the videos, and I really need to visit some places out of the USA.
Also I will now have to explain yo my wife that its your fault I've began saying "holy crap" the way you do. XD
Hahaha, that's awesome :D
Its almost a year since this comment. Did you order one? : P
+Tony Jose Ha-ha! Dude! I'm still shooting for one soon. Maybe in June! Wife graduates nursing school in a couple of weeks and we should be all set after getting settled! Come back here in June! lol
Hahaha okie!
It's been almost a year from last time you updated. Have you ended up ordering yours now?
Great video as always. I'm sure it's been said before. But, having a Tesla kind of forces you to stop and enjoy life and maybe do things you normally wouldn't due to the length of charge.
Agreed :)
weird to see 'strammer max' made with salami sausage, or maybe it's 'mettwurst', but either way. weird. it's supposed to be cured or smoked ham on there :|
but great videos, as usual. i really enjoyed this and it makes me want a tesla more and more. i looked at the new supercharger map and you should have a much easier time travelling next summer. i particularly liked to see the bit in frankfurt, my old hometown, although i haven't been able to visit in 4 years now :(
take care you two, hälsningar från sverige!
Hi Björn,
Thanks for the fascinating video. Just a question. Why do use a Mennekes In-Cable-Control-Unit for charging with SchuKo? The UMC should have an appropriate adapter.
Thanks and bye
Walter
It's an old habit I guess. Until earlier this year, the UMC couldn't start and stop charging. That's why Tesla gave me the Mennekes for free. I like the Mennekes because it's short.
Great video once again loved watching it on my Panasonic 65" tv with the family , trying to explain to them that it's costing you nearly Absolutely free to travel between destinations and completely carbon free , it would be my dream to do this and cannot wait for an affordable mass market electric car with the range of a tesla
Cool :)
And there goes the plan to go to sleep early...
yea your right... for mee to :-D
and for me...
*****
I downloaded the 1080p in 40 Minutes ;)
Same here, as soon as I saw the movie I got a chocolate bar and a cup of coffee!
You have some really good friends
Bjorn, love your patience when wifey is complaining about stairs and crowd at 37:45
Is there a link to martins tesla videos? Thanks
Videos are really fun to watch. keep it up
Awesome work as always, Bjorn! The photos at the Eiffel tower were worth the trip alone! :) I want to ask, have you seen the Saleen Tesla modifications? What is your opinion of it? Keep up the good work, the wait was long, but boy, well worth it!
I think the Saleen sounds horrible. And I personally like the "default" look of Model S. There's no need to change something that's already perfect :)
Although i didn't dislike the look of it, i also agree that stock look is better for this car, specially in black with 21"s. :) and what you thought about the Zoe?
Bjørn Nyland
Also, what you are your thoughts on the i8 you saw and the i3? i would love to see you do reviews on new electric cars, i think after 72k km, you have good experience and a good base for comparison with the Tesla.
Thank you :) I don't get any official reaction, no. But I know that many of Tesla's employees watch them.
Bjørn Nyland While watching the video and all the fuss about finding chargers, I wondered if you ever got towed with the Tesla... or have you ever come close to getting stranded/getting towed?
mazhats It has never happened once. Even on video #1, I still reached 0 km, but on the way down I regenerated power.
Awesome video. Very good English. Its like Rick Steve's Europe, minus the annoying host (sorry Rick). Ferry that thing over to the US... Even in my little city (southwest Wisconsin) we have Tesla recharging stations.
That was a true trip for real man ahahah, now too easy
BRAVO
I looked in the comments now and I see that you are/were on a trip this weekend, when will the 10th video be uploaded?
It will be uploaded in "2 weeks" :P
Ok
How close were you to hitting the walls in the parking garage?
I think I had about 10-20 cm clearance. It felt closer.
Bjørn Nyland Its terrible difficult having the overwiew sitting in model S, and driving down garages with left curves... The car is constant peeping, and is not showing the distance in display how close you REALLY are... Stops around 20 cm? The car is to low and to wide beeing possible having control :-)
Forgive the ignorance, but I don't understand why at min 22:17 ~ 230 V and 26 A in 3 phases give you a power of ~ 18 kW
230 V * 26 A * 3 = 17940 W
Bjørn Nyland Actually, I'm a bit confused, shouldn't it be voltage * amperage* sqrt (3) in a 3-phases ?
babyelian77 Yes, but this is 400 V. So it reality it's 400 V * sqrt(3) * 26 A
Bjørn Nyland Ah, ok, I think I made confusion between the single phase voltage that is indeed 230 V and the line to line voltage that is 230* sqrt(3) V = 400 V.
Thanks...almost forgot : excellent video, indeed !
41:44 I love this! The officers don't recognize the Tesla as an EV because it's not styled like a goofy weirdmobile.
Well done!
Thank you :)
@1:14:52 saw a cable running down on the grass, did you just plug into the memorial ?
Kjempe artig video!
Im 15 years old, and tesla model s p85+ really is my dream car, but i live in Denmark and the car taxes are extremely high, so this car with all the stuff you got in it would cost around 1 million danish crowns, around 200k dollars. I really have no idea how i would ever be able to afford a car like this:)
Have you been to UK Bjorn? It would be great to see you here! Superchargers have been installed here in Birmingham and London so far! You could come over and I could cook you one of my famous curries! :-)
Is that guy Martin American or Canadian he has no Swiss accent in his voice? Greetings from the USA!
Martin have lived in US.
I've gone down the Bjorn road trip rabbit hole and I can't get out!
Great video .Thanks .Beautiful wife too!
Oops .
Thanks for grate video, but i'm afraid the next videos can be more boring :) everywhere superchargers, no surprise no stress. ;)
Exactly :) I should spice them up with interesting Nimber (Easybring) tasks then.
Takk for tipset :)
Do you plan to came here in Venice someday?
We were in Venice in 2013. Maybe we'll go there again this summer.
What language are you speaking when you'r speaking to your wife? And also, you are Norwegian but where is your wife from? I presume that she isn't Norwegian as she doesn't seem to speak English. /Tesla owner wannabe from Sweden :)
We're speaking Thai. My wife is Thai.
Do a road trip to Sweden Stockholm.
Ps i come from sweden
We will go there one day. I have a friend who lives in Stockholm :)
Yes yes
Did you study in Japan - Maybe Bachelor or Masters
Hey Bjorn. Was this Paris in August ?
This was Paris in June/July.
How much would a house like that cost?
When were you in Reims?
1:51:40 Bentley Continental GT in the background
jo jo bradr , wejk ap dude hahahaha
Looks like a pain in the A** to constantly look for chargers
Next year is going to be heaven. Ever since we went on this trip, the number of superchargers in Europe have more than doubled, going from 29 to 63. Who knows how many it will be by next summer. In comparison, we never have to look for chargers when we are doing our trips in Norway.
I like your vidéos next Time in Paris call me ;)
