      Looking forward to see them! In the Europe road trip video, Bjørn spotted one at the Nürburgring, that was from the U.K. and also had a right hand drive. For me espacially, the Model S is far to expensive, but I can't wait for the Model 3 to come out. Maybe I'll get that one some day. I hope that Tesla is going to built some Superchargers around Munich till then.

    thank you for the marvelous pictures and the details of Model S.
    Maybe you enjoy another trip on youtube. It*s a drive with a Model S over the Stilfserjoch at more than 2700 meters above sealevel. Just search for "Lüning Stilfserjoch". (I know - it*s difficult to find an "ü").

    Another beautiful place shown in your video :) I must see Norway some day, especially the northern part, it's just amazing. One question just came to my mind: you wrote somewhere that for electric cars in Norway, all ferries and toll roads are free. Does it work also for EVs registered in another countries, or does it apply only for the ones registered in Norway?

    • @bjornnyland
      @bjornnyland  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the feedback. I'm not sure if cars from other countries get the same incentives. They should in my opinion.

    • @kodez79
      @kodez79 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am pretty sure that "Norwegian" is not a part of that deal. As the state has no tax whatsoever on electric cars, it is not like they are spending tax money to pay for the ferries and like. Thus, it should not matter where the electric car is from. This does not go for all ferries to/from Norway though, just the ones that are in place instead of building a bridge. Going to/from Denmark still cost money.

    Hey Bjørn, if you were to reorder your car, which options would you chose. Could you either make a video on this, or just write out a list in this comment. It would be great to see what options you would choose. Great video... look forward to the next :)

    • @bjornnyland

      I would choose pretty much the same options, except for cold weather package.

    • @MartinE-Type
      @MartinE-Type 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bjørn Nyland Why would you opt out of the cold weather package?

    • @bjornnyland
      @bjornnyland  10 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Martin Eriksson In cold weather and especially winter I preheat the car 15-30 minutes before departure. When I do that, there's no need for seat heaters in the back (or front). The heated wipers have also not been useful when driving in snow. What helped was turning on the front defroster which is standard equipment.

    In Sweden you are allowed to drive 1 year if you come from for example Thailand. My wife did unfortunately not drive much first year but she is also taking driving lessons now and will hopefully have a Swedish driving licence in the end of the year.
    I prefer M-150 over Red Bull or Krating Däng. Then you said you cold cook "rice and shit" in the cooler did you mean rice and น้ำจิ้มเนื้อ ;) (or kee woa as I learned it was also called)? I love grilled beef and sauce with น้ำจิ้มเนื้อ.

    • @bjornnyland
      @bjornnyland  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Does the 1 year limit apply to tourists as well? We're going back to Sweden in one week. So it would be nice if my wife could drive without the L and the mirror. The "shit" is just something I always say :)

    • @Merlinscosmos
      @Merlinscosmos 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bjørn Nyland It should not be any problem for your wife to drive in Sweden with her Thai driving licence.
      "Körkort från andra länder- giltighet i Sverige
      För att körkort från andra länder ska gälla i Sverige krävs att
      *körkortet är giltigt i det land där det har utfärdats,
      *innehavaren inte är folkbokförd i Sverige sedan mer än ett år,
      *innehavaren inte också har ett svenskt körkort som är omhändertaget eller återkallat, samt
      *körkortet inte har bytts ut mot ett svenskt körkort.
      Om körkortet inte är utformat enligt konventionerna 1949 eller 1968 om vägtrafik och inte heller är utfärdat på engelska, tyska eller franska, gäller det endast tillsammans med en bestyrkt översättning till engelska, tyska, franska, svenska, danska eller norska. Om körkortet saknar fotografi gäller det endast tillsammans med en identitetshandling med fotografi."

      @Merlinscosmos 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bjørn Nyland You could be able to get some sleep then you take a trip in Sweden if your wife allows it of course. You don't need to be instructor and driving in Sweden is very similar to drive in Norway but not the same as in Thailand. I actually prefer driving in Thailand (but not in Krungthep...). My wife know now that she needs to relearn a lot of the basic fundamentals that did not matter much in Thailand but matter a lot if she wants to take the driving license in Sweden.

      ***** Lunch at the tower was 400 kr, lunch at Union Hotel was another 450 kr. And then we bought supplies. So the total cost of food was actually more than 1000 kr. And like I said, the cabin was really inexpensive because it didn't have anything and this was low season. In comparison, when we stayed in the hotel in Bergen, one night cost 1200 kr.
      I guess it's hard to understand unless you live in Norway.

    • @kodez79
      @kodez79 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** You are right. School is free here. Health-care too. For everyone, forever. This means that if you are unlucky and are born with some sort of disability, you and your family is not screwed economically for the rest of your lives. That is quite a sweet deal. Yes, we pay a whole lot of tax, but it is sure worth it. My son of 1 year old was born with a split lip, jaw and palette. What you read as an "utopia" version of the treatment on wikipedia is a writeup of how it is done here. Without companies having to weigh economics into how you are treated at hospitals, you can lay long term plan on treatment and recovery .Oh, and by the way, school is free means for everybody. I mean really everybody, if you come here to go to college or university, all you have to pay is for your books, food and for your place to live. Free for everyone in the world. Food is bloody expensive though, and a place to live too. If you can accept living outside the city centre though, it should be a whole lot less than elsewhere. A lot of the classes are in English anyway.

      She's still using her iPhone. That's my new S5 that I haven't prepared for use yet. I have to migrate the data over to the new phone and install all the apps I need. She was just trying out my new phone.

      Bjørn Nyland Z3 is best though with its longest battery life and I hear next year they'll come out with an oled screen.
