Nice job man👍... Thank You for sharing your knowledge and tips . I live here in Michigan as well and fish Houghton Lake a lot... Keep up the good work and I hope your channel grows ...

Nice video & some beautiful perch. Really nice size to them. I am lucky enough to fish Lake Erie for both walleye & Perch. Last fall easy limits on the perch. 9-11 inches almost everyone one of them biggest % seemed to be 9 inches. Anything under 8 inches threw back.
Nice! Used to fish Erie myself when I lived in Pittsburgh. Jumbos are fun to catch. I started using slip floats and find that technique can outfish anything at certain times. Never tried it on Lake Erie though. Thanks for watching!
I was fishing a drop off...anchored in about 10 feet then throwing to the edge at about 16 feet before it drops to 25 feet. Thanks for watching! You ever fish walleyes and perch with slip floats?
@@dustinbeltz5364 it's extremely effective and you can fish as deep as you want with slip floats...it also works really well for suspended schools of perch. Give it a try!
It's crazy how many different species of fish I catch on leeches! Trying for walleyes the other day and couldn't keep the largemouths off the hook. But some days they just don't want anything....even a big old leech wiggling in their face isn't enough. I guess that's just fishing!
I enjoyed your video....the lake was really nice! Do you always fish solo? It kinda looks like you wouldn't have room in your boat for anyone else. lol
Great video! But FYI Pike taste just as good (or better in my opinion) as walleye. Instead of sticking your nose up and down talking those northerns, you should be grateful for such an awesome fish. They grow bigger, fight harder, and provide MUCH more meat than any of those walleye or perch you're keeping!!!
Thanks for watching the Vid! Yeah, I've eaten pike before. They taste pretty good. I like catching them when I'm targeting them especially but get annoyed when I'm after other kinds of fish. They definitely fight better than perch and walleye for sure! Take care. Fishitis.
6:14 too... you just keep movin around! Subscribed.
Nice day of fishing my friend! Love to find them perch!
Thanks! Yes, they're the best....and good eatin' too!

I love to eat perch. My fav.
Wish I could find leaches in pgh. Wish I had perch like that in the burg lakes!
I finally found a source of leeches, but no fish that want to eat them

Agreed. I'm up In the u.p and after July 15 seems leaches are non existent. Breaks my heart as that's my favorite slip bobber time of the year
I live in northern Michigan and I was wondering what lake that was?
Burt Lake. Thanks for watching!
@@fish-itis9469 oh nice. I have a home on Burt lake. What part of the lake you on?
