    I had the pleasure of fishing with Tom about a week ago, we were on the same bite. We had an absolute blast catching walleyes. If you guys are ever in the Hayward area take the opportunity to fish with this guy, you will not be disappointed. He is upfront, honest and will do everything he can to keep you on the fish.

    Got these thinking they were the slightly larger Panfish floats th-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq0gU they work just fine. The smaller size lets me carry more in my tackle box, and the 3 color choices are nice for different lighting conditions, backgrounds, etc. They aren't the most durable things in the world. But, as cheap as they are, it's not heartbreaking to lose one or have to replace a worn one. The price on these fluctuates wildly, from about $9 to almost $16. So, time your buy accordingly.

    The leader has zero stretch to it th-cam.com/users/postUgkxOnWw4BwVtrW450xWozo3OpVX4931NDw5 which is expected from a wire leader. Can’t test the quality of all the snaps yet but packaging was nice and neat and I couldn’t get anything to happen when I pulled on it.

    Nice job guys! Definitely my favorite way to catch walleyes. I see so many anglers out there trolling with boards all day but I'll take this method over that any day! Much more fun in my opinion. Loved the vid!

    *These are easy to use and highly visible **enjoyable.fishing** recommend they are extremely valuable for going from a dead drift set up to a float setup. They save time and you don't have to re-tie everything to add a float to your presentation.*

    Awesome video. I fish walleye on Mille Lacs lake About 26 FOW. With the Same bobber, same egg weight, same swivel, braided line on reel, and 3 foot of 10 pound fleurocarbon tied onto a plain orange #4 hook. Sometimes when I crank up after I don't get a bite for a while my leech and the fleurocarbon are wrapped up around the swivel and egg sinker! Does this ever happen to you?? If so what can I do to make this not happen? Thanks for your help

      Use a 1/16 oz. jig in your favorite color and the leach would have to work very hard to swim upwards and around your swivel.

    Me and my buds are heading up to the Plum/ Trout Lake area in late May. I am wondering if anyone knows if this set up would be effective? We really wanna hit the trout since they're hard to find where we're from... I was told minnows are the way to go, but I will use leeches if those are the trick..?

    • @somethin_cool493

      Easy hack is to cut about a 6 inch length off the end of a steel leader. Use side cutters to cut the swivel off but leave the wire loop on the leader intact. Feed your fishing line into the loop far enough that you have 4 to 6 inches on the tag end. Then feed the cut end of the leader down through the slip bobber and pull the loop end through. As long as the tag end is longer than the bobber, the line should pull right through.

  • @bobchapman5898
    @bobchapman5898 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    You will have a lot more hookups if you use a pencil type slip bobber like a venom or wave buster, almost no resistance when fish are pulling it under. The line slide is also on the bottom of these floats rather than the top, the line slides through much easier and can also be used when ice fishing. Also no need for a two hand hook set with walleye, simply raise the rod keeping steady pressure, the "big jerk" will pull your lure out if not hooked really well.
