Hi Carlos! Thank you so much. Really appreciate your videos. One question: Once we changed to the new domain, do the users need to logout from their Outlook, Teams and set up the MFA Authenticator again? or it will automatically change to the new domain name? Thanks a lot.
The users will need have to configure their accounts in Outlook as a new account after changing the domain. Be aware that the username will change. Thank you.
Yes, when you change your email address, the old email becomes an alias and it allows you to continue receiving emails with your old email address as well. thank you
Thank you so much Carlos! This explanation was great and so intuitive. Couldn't find this anywhere else. I used AWS Route 53 to do this, steps were pretty much similar except for the part for the registry name, in Route 53 most things are left empty rather than adding an @ for root.

Thank you so much. I have one question - will our data or emails be moved to the new email, or do we need to take a backup?
When you rename the users (to the new domain) the email data and files remain associated to the user. No data is lost. Thank you.
Will this remove the old domain name users sharepoint site, onenote, teams, and onedrive items?
Sharepoint and OneDrive URLs wont change after switching the domain name. Is this what you are referring to?
Thank you.
If someone emails me at my old domain, will it automatically appear in my new domains inbox? If not how can I make it known to people my new domain?

What if I am missing the admin panel? I should be the admin but can't find the panel.
if you are the admin, you could also try logging in via asmin.microsoft.com
Thank you
