Before the upgrade to windows 11 the thumbnail for a PDF would show an image of the first page of the file. Now it shows the generic image. How do I get that back? I don't like having to click each file to see what it is. Most of my PDF's are sewing or knitting patterns and a visual image works best. She mentioned about connecting her phone with her computer. That on busy days she can use and do things from her phone without needing to get on her computer. As for using your camera to log in I think it's ill advised. Keep your onboard camera covered until you actually have to use it. For security reasons. That said, your videos are excellent. Great help your vids Kevin. Can you make one for auto login. I have looked but seems complicated. When I turn on the PC I would like it to go straight to the desktop. But still have the auto log with password/pin when I leave it form a length of time. Many thx.
Why don't you just disable the password? Anyways, I know a method that will help you skip the lock screen and take you directly to the passwords entry field. That saves time. So you will not see the lock screen background, it disables it.

Interesting that Windows Hello says we couldn't find a camera compatible with Windows Hello Face. I get this message on my desktop which I use a Logitech C270 external webcam, and I also have a newer Alienware laptop with a built-in webcam and still get the same message. How about consistent NFS support out of the box, a secure windows kernel, live updating of system files like linux has. Where only restarting you would need is kernel level updates. How about less direct x 12 overhead. Sure you can make changes to the surface level stuff, that won't make windows 11 any faster. If nothing else windows 11 has become less intuitive. It needs better nvme ssd support, something windows 10 already had. They should be paying attention to Linux. How about quality QA testing for Windows updates. As someone who uses both Windows 11 and Linux Mint Cinnamon, when I want a solid, responsive operating system I go work on my laptop.
I have design space on my laptop that is Windows 11, when I'm on the design space I have to toggle the screen in order to get to the continue button on the bottom of the screen. But even if I toggle the screen I still can't get far enough to the bottom of the. Website to take me to the upload button on the bottom. I have tried shrinking the screen . I even had a member of geek squad go into the settings and see if they could fix it but he said that cricut. Design space wasn't compatible with windows 11. Is there anything I can do or do I need to install windows 10. Please let me know.
