    I've been using Resolve for a few years now. There is nothing else quite like it, and this video is the best tutorial I have seen yet... I wish I had known this stuff back when I started.

    I have just stared watching your videos to learn Excel. They are great. I’m currently doing Google’s Data Analytics course. Anyway, Resolve is awesome but I would suggest your PC or Mac does need to be half decent to get the most out of it.

    remember to turn off proxy before generating video, otherwise output quality of video is based on proxy quality

    novice question, suppose i have 100s of raw clips and on my project i need to move only certain custom timeframe clips from random clips to my timeline. how do i do this effectively. by default i only see option to drag whole clip to timeline

    Just started with DR. The playback issues are driving me crazy and there is so much content on DR it's really overwhelming to try and figure it out. Silly me for thinking I could just go be a film maker🤭
    I researched having enough GPU and RAM etc to NOT have issues with fusion and was able to purchase what I need. Figuring out how to layer my effects (gun shot flare plus audio plus footage in front of a green screen for for example) will me be my next big tackle. But adding just one effect is causing playback issues and hopefully this tip helps! Thank you!

    Hey Leila, thanks for the Tips - just shifted from Vegas to DaVinci.
    But as many of the TH-camrs you forgot to mention if the "generating optimized medie" impacts the original file in any way?
    Each time people mention this feature they forget this IMO, very important information?

    I use Movavi and it does a good job. I am not so sure howe comparable the tools are.

    Great video, but the bad sound quality and noisiness made me feel like Resolve isn't the right program to edit interviews and other dialogue driven content.

    can you do the same with Adobe softwares? Like Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop! It will help out beginners students alot with assignments and so on like me :)
