Never thought that I would watch a powerpoint tutorial on a saturday night and find it super interesting! The youtube algorithm sometimes nails it :)))) Congrats!
Love it - I've been manually creating this 'morph' feature myself for years using animations (grow/shrink as well as motion paths); this will ABSOLUTELY be easier and faster in future! PPT still going strong after so many years...
As an art historian who might do presentations on artworks and then talk about specific details, the cut and morph trick will be extremely useful for me. Thank you so much!
Not only is this a great tutorial on how to use morphing in PowerPoint, it's an even better example of how to teach! You explained everything so clearly, you didn't omit any steps, you showed us every part of the process. Great job!!
I don't get the western people always like to add a black person to signal virtue, telling people they are politically correct. It disgusts me every time I see this. No one dares to be honest anymore. It is sad.
Okay, as someone who does a lot of graphic design, I'm genuinely impressed by just how... effortless that morph was to create. Almost envious. Not that I'd prefer a method with no real flexibility over this, but I swear... the ability to just.. you know, easily do exactly that because sometimes that's all you need. That's pretty impressive.
Idk, for me, PowerPoint makes the animation process more difficult than using AE or Premiere. But the morphing effect is pretty cool. I haven't had a use for that yet, but I think there may be a way to do that to shapes in AE.
At first I scoffed at the idea of 3 tips in an 11 minute video, but I ended up watching the whole thing. I make and present a lot of reports so this is actually quite useful and definitely something I can use in the future. So thank you!
I don't know why TH-cam recommended me this video now. But i'm super thankful! This is exactly what i was missing in my last presentations. I tried to work around with the zoom animation, but you can't really adjust the focus point there. Morph seems to be the ultimate Tool for that. Thanks a lot for your video!!
Y'know, I thought I was reasonably competent with Excel and PowerPoint, and a decent instructor. Then I found out about Leila. Your excellent, efficient presentation of features, combining them in a way that lets one see their true value with fantastic production value... wow. Just wow. Thank you!
Actually i did think of it myself, and once i did, my slides looked almost too professional, as my tutor wouldnt believe they were not templates... This is a very powerful tool and it should be used more. So much more engaging !
Awesome! As a viewer, I would say that smooth transitions like morphs, make the presentation more dynamic, but also calmer and more organized at the same time. They help the viewer to focus on what's really important in a natural way.
This video was suggested to me even though I hardly use Power Point and I don't have any particular interest in it. 11 minutes later, I felt compelled to leave a positive comment because this was so well executed and explained, it actually made me want to open Power Point and explore these features! I'm really impressed and happy that I learned something new. You are a great teacher! Subscribed ♥
You are sick! Saw this was over 11 minutes long, so didn't want to watch the whole thing this evening, but the more you talked, the more interested I became and was so glad that I watched the entire video. One doesn't need to wonder why you have over 1.7 million subscribers. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this. Can't wait to see other videos!
I just want to drop a few lines and say thank you. I am a Maths Teacher in the UK. I have just tried this Morph technique in creating one of the lessons. Not to add fanciness to my Powerpoint but to illustrate a concept. I think it will visually effective to my students. I would love to develop further (maybe my own CPD target) how to help students to learn with visually effective powerpoint presentation. Thank you for sharing your wisdom!
Mind blown., I have been working for MS for 20 yrs now (no joke - started 2001). 16 of those working on office products directly (core engineering) and I didn't even know Morph existed..
I just used a combination of the first and second technique in a presentation and it was (nearly) as fast as she did it in the video and just as easy- looks super sweet. Thanks for the awesome tip!
Hey Scott, how did you get the picture on the slide so it's lined up. I inserted it as background, but had trouble resizing it. It didn't let me . Thanks for your help!
Thank you Leila, I so agree with your last point that when using other transitions, they in a business setting can come off as being cartoonish, so the way you showed it with Morph is perfect and I will attempt to use it for graphs that emphasizes changes in Key Performance Indicators. Thanks again!
Never thought such cool transitions can be done in PowerPoint. I am definitely going to use it in my future presentations. Thanks Leila for the tutorial!
My company started implementing a standard presentation template so I'm glad to have find ways to be creative without disrupting our standard! I subscribed bec of this, looking forward to more!
I ADORE the Morph transition! I love it for taking a large image and zooming in and out of certain areas to discuss. I've found this especially helpful when doing training.
I was given the PowerPoint task in the morning. Watched your tutorial at lunch and managed to produce a great presentation by the end of the day. Thanks for the clear tutorial.
Awesome! I've always loved the morph effect, but didn't know elements were associated across slides by their name. This one is going to be a game changer!
@@Sameen_Saifullah It's in ppt when it's accessed as part of Office 365. Not sure if it's in earlier/standalone versions. If it's available you'll see it under Transitions.
I've been using ppt for decades and never saw this transition or at least how to use it effectively. I'm going in to make some alterations to existing presentations right now.
You just blew my mind. I've been creating presentations for years and hate that I never knew this sooner. Thank you, my presentations going forward will be even better.
Wow Leila! That was cool, you ARE cool! Thanks for the tips! Will try to impress my colleagues with my next presentation, not just by the contents, but by the transitions as well. ;) However, it is important to note that this functionality is available only on Office 365 subscription.

What a wonderful instructional video. It is easy to follow, the lessons are easy to apply, and the demonstrates clearly show the value and application. Great work! I'll be sharing this with the students who ask me for advice on PowerPoint!
My best PowerPoint transition so far - liked by most - has been when I hit +F4. But I will save this one for a rainy day, when I will need something beyond that...
Hi Leila. I love the morph function it makes a presentation look great. I just need to find something to present using this feature now! Thank you for sharing 😀

This is absolutely stunning, love how cool yet professional this transitions are. One question though, where did you get the timeline? I looked into SmartArt with no luck 😢
Fantastic tutorial. I am now using this when presenting busy slides like spreadsheets so I can keep their attention on only the cells I want them to look at. Also, I took it a step further to morph shapes between morphing slides, moving from one highlighted section of the spreadsheet to the next. Pretty pumped for this!
The morph tool is fantastic. Although I would personally never use it to warp images or text. It's really distracting. It's fantastic as a zoom feature though.

Right? These actually look very professional and high quality. I need to mess around with this and learn how to use it.
