I don't know what others thought before, but I think it is more than clear that your videos are very well prepared, many hours of working time. That is why I follow you, this is what brings quality. I'm not sure if it is "far too much", as you say. No, this IS why this channel is successful!
From Iran? Amazing! I've just watched one of your Excel videos and I came here expecting to get the answer that you're from Brazil. I was sure about this based on your accent (a very soft one by the way, not weird), your way to express yourself, your body language and you look like a Brazilian woman. I'm from Brazil. You just got me fooled. 😅

I literally just found your channel and this is the first TH-cam of you that I have watched. I am blown away! My best friend in college was from Iran 🇮🇷
your video evolution at TC 11:00 was great to hear along with your overall process … you are right about audio - audio is the difference between amateur and pro work - a screen in front of the mic helps with “Popping-Ps”
Leila, you don't need to change anything about yourself. You are absolutely amazing. As an instructor for over 32 years, I'm in awe of your excellence in training and have learned so much from you. I've been able to provide my students with better information and results as a result. I recommend your channel in every class I teach and look forward to seeing more of your videos. Congratulations!

Just seeing 52 dislikes tells alot about the human nature and what kind of people could be among us in daily basis. How can somebody dislike this honest Q&A??!!!
Very entertaining and informative. Truth be told, Leila probably has not even scratched the surface of her best work. Did you all notice how she said she wasn't necessarily surprised that she achieved One MILLION Subscribers, but rather surprised at how long it took to get there? Those of the words of quiet confidence! So much talent, and what a resume ... Oracle, Hyperian, SAP, VBA, and of course expert status in all Microsoft Office Products. I'm so happy that she said Excel is still worth learning; and explained how Power BI and Tableau are great "reporting tools", but not capable of doing ALL the things that EXCEL CAN DO! I love Excel, and I love what I've learned from Leila on this channel!
Your channel is among the most professional that I have seen. Your passion and presentation skills are exemplary. As an engineer, I use excel every single day and there are techniques you have taught that I never knew were possible. Thank you!

It's nice to hear her laugh... and she has a nice voice.... I always share her videos to my class. We learned a lot from her... Thank you for the free education. Such an inspiration. Please keep going, we love you!
4:04 It’s great that your job is an integrated part of your life. Many people like to separate work and free time by creating a boundary between them. Moreover, Excel is not typically seen as something you would use out of working hours, but the fact that you do and enjoy it is great. With all the knowledge you’ve acquired over the years, do you remember it all? Or do you often have to look back at what you’ve done in the past to jolt your memory? You’ve covered so many topics after all.
When you has an enthusisasm about something, and it happens that you can find (or create) a workplace that matches your interest, then you don't really working at work, and don't really need that amount or kind of relaxation after that, because you just do what you love to do, which is relaxing in itself. I knew she is this kind of a personality in the first second when she hesitated answering the question. If this is what someone truly are, and if it happens that he/she are in a relationship that can't tolerate this behaviour and you are forced too hard to draw a line between your freetime and worktime, which is the same as your hobby.... Then it is sad, but the truth is that you are not the person the other one searched for, and sooner or later it will either take your happiness away or you'll end the relationship.
Really enjoyed this video, made me smile and laugh 😁 For years, I have watched and learned many excel functions from your videos, and many of my questions about you were answered today. Your videos have helped me a lot in my work and personal life, so I am really grateful and appreciate the awesome work you have done. Much thanks and congrats on your milestone!
Wow, Leila, this is also a teachable video. You’ve answered multiple questions and gave perspectives on your education, career, and work/life. Even the question my mom said never to ask a woman. ;-) It’s definitely your international education, accent & upbringing that gives you relatable appeal. Wishing you & crew much more success in the future!

The best aspect of your channel is that I can go to ONE person to get the BEST videos on excel. Most Thorough, easy to understand, easy to see illustrations. Prior to coming across your videos, I would scan through many videos to see how to do a function in excel. Most videos are very poor... becoming a waste of time.

Just finished watching your video. You know what I liked the best?? You remember how to laugh. That sounds to me like a person at peace with their life. The old adage, "live, laugh, love" applies.
Congratulation Liela, As someone who speaks more than one language (with an accent) I enjoy listening to your courses. A true global person, born in one continent, lives in another and went to school in yet another. Keep them coming.
So glad after all these years of being educated by your videos that I finally get to see the real you! Well done beautiful lady, keep up the good work!
Thanks for the QnA session, it was by far the funniest I've seen so far. You are a great person, Leila, I love the work you are doing. I'm a little bit shocked on your husband making fun of you on your A results in the uni. This bit tells a lot on your probably lovely relationship, but still, I'd be super proud if my wife had those great results as you and would never say anything even a half bad joke about it. Congratulations Leila, appreciation for giving an honest look at your real life :) Please don't stop doing the things you do on youtube ! Thanks for the past, thanks for what will come.
Thank you for your personal information, even more like a classroom where we get to know our teacher. Your videos are well presented and at a pace where I can grasp the content and not just follow it. We’re not all experts so slowing down, especially when mouse clicking, sometimes helps.
Leilaaaaa so happy to watch this and I thought you’re serious all time but now I know you’re funny , beautiful and good personality! Love from Malaysia 💯💯🙌🏼🇲🇾 you’re my life saviour in Excel haha
I like the sound of your voice. It has a sort of “perkiness” to it. Some videos blather on and on without getting to the point and with a voice such that I immediately fall into a state of unconsciousness!!
Leila, I discovered your channel recently and was so impressed with your explanations and presentation style. You seem like such a lovely and intelligent person and it was fun to watch this video to discover the human side behind the professionalism. Love love love your videos.

The fact that you laugh so easily, and do have a great sense of humor, is what I now like about you the most. Your advice is always excellent, but now that you have shown your sense of humor, I hope you incorporate it in your future videos. And, let your husband interact with you more. He seems to bring out your laughter. Take care...
Thank you Leila, you’re a huge inspiration. I took a couple of your courses on Udemy, and of course now follow you here on TH-cam. You’ve really helped me build my skills and my career, and I continue to learn from you. Many congratulations on your 1m subs, it’s fully deserved. ❤️
Congratulations! I have sent so many Univ. of California Berkeley students to your channel, I'm not surprised you have a million subscribers! So well deserved!
I know this is an old video, but I felt compelled to respond to it. If every government in the world was as transparent as you are in this video about yourself, I don't believe we would have as many problems as we have now. Your TH-cam videos on Excel are very impressive. After retiring from the military I worked for a contractor, in maintenance, electronic support, and IT. I taught myself Excel and used it to produce a build tracking for a car that I was working on. I showed it to one of the department managers that taught Excel at a college and he was impressed with it. From that, I created applications in Access for my photography collection plus applications for the photography club I am part of. Keep it up. PS, I am about to hit the 76-year mark, and I know I can still do 20-30 push-ups, and I hate them.
Wow, I waited a long time for this video (I always thought that you're strictly serious only 😉, then you came out with the #shorts pranks [please continue...] and here we go with the full sense of humour 😊), I feel much more connected now, thank you so much!!!
My mind is blown... I started following you back in Jan of 2017. I needed a refresher for my new job at the time and I swear you were around 100k subscribers. Then today I happened to see your TH-cam short video on actual/Budget and I literally said Holly Shit... There's a million people that know my secret...Damn. Congrats and heres to another million subscribers. Take care and be safe.👏🔥👑🏆
I'm suprised you have only 1,000,000 followers. Your content and presentation are incredible, and I've learned so much. Thank you and I look forward to many more years of learning.
I am so glad I watched this video. I've watched a number of your previous videos, Leila, and as viewers, we always wonder about the person behind them. Who is she, what is her offline personality, all that stuff that is irrelevant do the video at hand, but is still important. Just so we know who are. Never would have pegged you at 43. Maybe 30. But your voice is older than 30 for sure. Confident, knowing, and sure of yourself, so when you said 43, I was surprised at first and then figured it was right. This video should be used by many YT presenters, especially those who regularly put out videos, as an example of how to market themselves so that we understand who you are.
Congrats! Thank you for all the help you have provided me without even knowing it! I love your professional videos with amazing step-by-step-descriptions without loosing me on the way. Keep it up and all the best from this point forward!!
I'm also a sound teacher and sound guy. Your sound is perfect. Ignore the comments about your voice. You have a non perfect English's accent, as anyone from other country (like me) but other than that, which btw is very ok in your voice, no problems...that's not a problem also, just a feature! I also have your age, but I look 50! you look 30!
Loved the video! You're so intelligent and inspiring, and now we had an insight of your humourous and bubbly personality outside of your formal profession. ❤️❤️❤️
I was always interested in learning more about you, and today I saw this video! I am very thankful for all of the content and training you have shared! Now let's go for the 2,000,000 milestone!⭐ Btw, you have an extremely pleasant voice!

Couldn't believe it😂😅💔 Beside that, congratulations for your achievement and a BIG THANK YOU for your amazing work. My entire workflow has changed thanks to you basically😂: I switched to Edge browser, applied many tips and tricks in MS Office I learnt from you..and many other things🙏🏽
I just found you. Mainly because I toy with spread sheets a lot as I want to understand the number relationships in my world. It was funny that this video was listed next on the watch list. I had opened it up on a new window where it sat for a few days. I just watched it and subscribed. You are very charismatic. Its not just your face. Its the love you have for what you are doing... and that of course shows in your face. But, more important it shows in how well you present. I find it clearly impacts my comprehension. That being a great thing I had to press that button. On the question of balance work with life, I think there are people who work to survive and people who work to live. I have friends who just seem so alive when they work. I feel this way. This seems to be you as well. Very happy I found your channel. You have helped me understand a few things already and browsing through things already I see I need to learn. Thank you.
Very Cute. I realized your background early on, although your speech made it so curious. The international school does explain a lot. Listening to you in this context, so reminded me by inflection, smile and mannerism of my dear friend Bahman (Ben), who passed this year and I miss so much. He too, was so very smart and multi-lingual.
Very cool video. BTW: What resources are you using for DAX? Do you have some good recommendations? Because I'm currently doing that as well; with linkedIn learning :-)

What a wonderful way to know a bit more about the loveliest TH-cam creator! Congratulation for that new feat !
Congrats on your continued success! 1M is quite an achievement. Thank you for all of the knowledge that you've shared over the years!
And now it is over 2M.
Thank you Leila, you’re a huge inspiration. I took a couple of your courses on Udemy, and of course now follow you here on TH-cam. You’ve really helped me build my skills and my career, and I continue to learn from you. Many congratulations on your 1m subs, it’s fully deserved. ❤️
Thank you so much!
That's so nice, Lee! Thank you for the kind feedback. I wish I could do 20-30 push-ups 😁
Wow I can't wait for your new courses on Udemy. You changed my life , thank you so much Leila, tons of love ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much!
I learned a lot from your vidoe tutorials. Whichever topic I search, you are just there. Thank you for being there. Keep up the good work.
Great to see high quality content getting recognition! And also the first time I ever met someone who knows excel more than I do! Congratulations!
At some time every body wants to know things from, whom they follow regularly, it was good to see you...!
I'm suprised you have only 1,000,000 followers. Your content and presentation are incredible, and I've learned so much. Thank you and I look forward to many more years of learning.
Congratulation Leila on your 1 million subscribers. I would never have guessed you are from Iran ...so proud of you. Damet Garm.
Congratulations on your 1M Leila. Thank you for this insight into YOU. Your honesty and humour are such amazing traits.
3:50 Plants that have a purpose😂😂 haha this was awesome Leila. I could see a new series of vlogs in the future :)
Yeah, the guys behind the camera had a lot of laughs with that one 😂
@@LeilaGharani it was awesome and super funny! :)
I had never thought of "plants with a purpose" before... and I'm a vegetarian. Bursted out laughing.👍👍😂
Kia Ora Leila from New Zealand congrats on your success appreciate you great channel all the best for the future.
Loved the video! You're so intelligent and inspiring, and now we had an insight of your humourous and bubbly personality outside of your formal profession. ❤️❤️❤️
You're wonderful, Leila, congratulations on your milestone and keep these great videos coming! I've learned a ton from you. :-)
I was always interested in learning more about you, and today I saw this video! I am very thankful for all of the content and training you have shared! Now let's go for the 2,000,000 milestone!⭐
Btw, you have an extremely pleasant voice!
As an Iraninan who studied programming 45 year ago I am proud of you and learnt a lot from you in excel, power point and recently power BI. Thank you Leila khanom
Congratulations, Leila!
Congratulations on this amazing achievement. It represents great work, effort, and quality.
You have helped me so much with various Office "How-To's".
Congrats on this well-deserved milestone!
When you answered the question "how old are you?", I swear I repeated that part and increased the volume to make sure I heard it correctly. Couldn't believe it😂😅💔
Beside that, congratulations for your achievement and a BIG THANK YOU for your amazing work.
Early 40s are the BEST! If I could relive any age it would be those years.
Really? I am actually 35 but have a phobia of age. I worry how life would be life when I reach 40.
@@rgseven6557 I'm closing on 40 and it feels less scary than it was to be closing on 30 ;)
As a woman I really admire you.
Very cool video.
BTW: What resources are you using for DAX? Do you have some good recommendations? Because I'm currently doing that as well; with linkedIn learning :-)
My favorite is the book from Marco Russo and Alberto Ferrari - and also the TH-cam channel they have: sqlbi.
@@LeilaGharani thx.
Congratulations !! Oh my lord you are 43? can't believe you! Indeed your voice is changed but your msg is clear! amazing table lamp :) , i share your channel with all my collogues. WOW, i have two sons one is 14 yrs and another 6 yrs. it is really hard to handle boyz. It is nice knowing you more with this Q & A section. hope next Q & A will be after 2Million.
