I really enjoy fishing the Potomac River up here in NoVa but my favorite place in Va is Sandy River Reservoir, that place is loaded. I’ve hunted ducks on the Rappahanock but never fished it before, but I want to! I’ve fished the James River around Bremo bluff and had some great smallies. Tight lines man!
Thanks for showing some love man. I love to throw around a black and blue football head jig or a Berkley pit boss if you're gonna fish slow. Crankbaits, underspins, and scroungers work great as moving baits. Good luck!
Can you state again what you sprayed onto your creature bait for the smell? Also have you ever used sardines (canned kind) as bait or smell? Definitely like the insightful channel on DMV fishing man!
Thanks for the support man! The spray that I use is called Spike-It Dip-N-Glo Dye, it comes in an aerosol or liquid form. Works great for attractant. As for the sardines, I've never actually used them before. Can't knock it till you try it though! Thanks again for stopping by and showing some support

Yea I recently moved back to NOVA from Washington State and used sardines as both bait and smell (drown Powerbait nuggets in them) in freshwater lakes and the upper Puget Sound. Hit and miss on the technique but caught a beautiful Steelhead at Cle Elum Lake in WA!

Does burke lake not have big bass?
It does, the last few years have produced some quality bass. The spring and fall are best for catching bigger fish there.
