I completely become immersed in your videos. I'm 71 and retired and I think I'm going to buy a kayak and take up both bass fishing and fishing the saltwater marshes where I live for red fish, trout and flounder. You are truly an inspiration!!! I'm always watching for your next video!
You have no idea just how relaxing and enjoyable I find your content. I wish I could fish like this, but age and arthritic knees… Again, I really enjoy your videos and am always looking forward to the next fishing trip.
I’m always captivated by the action of lures under water. This was great because not only could I see the fish you were getting at but I could also see what was going on with that lure under water as well. That’s sick. I can’t imagine fishing in anything that clear here in Texas.
@@FindingAdventure that sounds fun lol. I’m actually visiting TN in a little bit. I need a remote job before I move anywhere lol. And one that pays well haha. You got any hook ups!?
I love your videos! I've been watching your videos for a couple years now. No loud obnoxious music. Just hookset feed left and right. Always entertaining. The attention is always only on the bait and the fishing. It is exactly what every fisherman wants to see on TH-cam. Just reeling in fish left and right. I'm jealous of the locations you get to fish at. I live in the Connecticut River Valley of Massachusetts. We do have some good fishing out here but it's nothing like what you have. All of our areas are overfished
@@ndyakangler Thank you for deleting it. I've seen it before on other fishing channels, so I knew it wasn't legit. Plus, you don't do giveaways, right?
I can’t say enough about how much I enjoy your videos. I really love the way you present the fish 🐟 and show how beautiful they are! Big or small I love them all! The places you fish at are absolutely beautiful! Thank You so much. 🐟
Good luck! It’s definitely a little sketchy but once you’ve got your bearings it’s like second nature and you’ll be ripping lips in no time. The first fish in the yak is going to be a great feeling. Tight lines!!

Love waking up to the peace of Ndyak fishing vids! Got my pb smallie 2 weeks ago, 18" in Ohio. I love/hate watching you catch 19's on the reg. Arrrggg! Lol. Love the vids bro. Thanks for sharing.
Late to the party; just watched. I can't believe you're fishing that rig in those weeds. You have supernatural skills or the patience of Job. back watching all your videos. Great stuff, THANK YOU!
Jeez, as I sit here in my home state (Texas), facing the prospect of 104 degrees today, kayak in the barn, I'm vicariously enjoying watching this video. You are definitely one of the best fishermen on TH-cam!
Years ago, as a young man I used to fish clear water like that in what was called a belly boat. I would fish at night and use a 6. broken back Rapala that I would paint all flat black. Man, you talk about pull the rod out of your hand hits. I had many of good nights fishing like that.
I will be going tonight, whopper plopper perch for top water on the river by my house. I started wading the river for bass and now I am a kayak fisherman, my wife is so thankful that I found your videos🤣🤣. I used to troll Saginaw bay for walleye every weekend but now it's hard not to go after smallmouth for the fun of it.
Every time I fish clear water it makes me think of all the wasted casts I make when I'm not fishing clear water searching for a bite. I tend to think there are gonna be lots of fish where I'm casting, but in reality there probably aren't that many. Thanks again for the videos man!!
Hey Matt another great adventure! In inspiration of you I just bought my first St croix rod. Just a simple 7 foot medium fast. Glad to see you getting some more large mouth then usual, that’s what I’m used to fishing for. I also invested in a nice kayak so I can go on relaxing trips like you. I learn lots from you and I appreciate your time put into this account. 😎🤘
I love your tranquil fishing videos. I can’t fathom how well you cast with a bail caster. I can do it for awhile but eventually I screw up and create a big tangled mess. I’m at the point now with it that I have heavy duty line and troll for monster pike whenever I feel the need to use it.
Nice video and great bass Matt. We had a topwater bite for about 4 hours Saturday then they switched off. Had to finesse the largemouth with wacky rig worms and a little swim bait. I caught 4 sight fishing best about 15.5 inches. It's killer watching the approach and attack
Wacky work never fails with bass, they LOVE that sucker! Awesome video dude I am really enjoying living vicariously through you and these vids. Fishing the fox river in IL gets me plenty of 2-3 lb smallies which are a blast but where you’re at is like a dream spot. Cool to see you respect nature and are mindful of taking care of these beautiful hogs.
Just ordered some wacky worms:Watermelon Gold and Bumblebee Swirl. I'm a beginner to freshwater fishing but this looks like a fun way to improve. Thanks for the great video!
For some reason they just catch fish, pretty much any time I tie one on. You can hook directly through the worm but they’ll only last a fish or two that way. Most people use a small o-ring, I use a little band of clear heat shrink tubing at the middle of the worm and run the hook through that. I’m surprised the one fish shook my worm, one will usually last me all day.
@@Oldbasshole I'm not sure yet if there are any. I'm mostly a saltwater guy but I'm slowly exploring freshwater. The bumblebee swirl definitely looks like it will work. Thank you for the info.
@@buffoonoutdoors I’m sure it’ll work ! Pickerel, perch, bluegill it just looks like a dying baitfish in the water. Cast it out n let it sink . The bait will do the rest . Good luck

Man, you’re the best! So inspiring and encouraging. Oh, and yes there’s a fair bit 😳 of product I’ve bought, on your success😉Living CA, where nothing’s native … you may inspire a move my friend! Wishing you all the success life has to offer!
A marvellous fishing scenario all too similar, except for the water lilies, to the reservoir which is my bass paradise over here in Spain: clear water with tall columns of weeds. I enjoyed this video a lot because is about sight fishing, a practice I am familiar with since I was a kid but not by the wacky rig, of course, because that method had not been invented yet. I am talking about the seventies and the lure was a simple black plastic worm which was rigged weightless. Those marvellous worms were our “bread and butter” for bass fishing and were imported from the USA, the brand was Boone. The more veterans of you Americans will surely remember them. It was me as a kid the one in charge of preparing them for the three of us: my dad, my brother and myself. I would rig them with a length of monofilament and three small hooks driving the line through the worm by means of a solid long needle. Bass sight fishing in clear waters, like that of García de Sola reservoir, was a weekend joy: watching the bass dart to the worm, open its mouth and offer the green bright of its flank at the hookset …what a rush of adrenaline…
The first bass you caught with the other one chasing it reminds me of a few weeks ago when I had gone to a new lake like a HUGE lake I’ve never been to before and I hooked into a little dink bass and a 7lber came out from under a dock and swallowed my little bass lol they both came off since the bigger one wasn’t hooked but it was still really cool to see
I was just wondering about those mayflies the other day! If the water stays up the fishing should be awesome when the mayflies come out thick! There’s a few hot days coming up in the forecast, that usually brings out the swarms.
I’ll usually bring it just in case but at this spot I have to wheel my kayak up a steep tree root covered hill at the end of the day so I pack as light as I can.
