I have the same trailer as you. Be careful, the tongue will bend and twist if you are not careful. I was backing up and barely bumped the dock and the tongue got destoyed.

I caught two 6+lb bass in a friendly private bass club tournament in my hometown in east texas. $50 buy in and $10 big bass(over 5lbs) pot which was progressive. There were 20 anglers and i took home almost $2k. They immediately asked me not to come back to their fishing club. It was my first tournament with them. Bunch of sore loosers out there in Texas.

I read a story years ago about a drunk guy in Belarus getting killed by a beaver he decided to pick up. That Belarusian guy was asking for it, but I never would have predicted them going after guys in boats.

I love Burke Lake! Best bass fishing in NoVA that I've encountered. Haven't mastered the Occoquan yet in my 10ft kayak!

I can't believe they are still busting baitfish. I've hit then for the last two weekends and will prolly hit em again Sunday. I popped three in a row last Sunday when they blew up right under where I was sitting. Craziness! I could not get them unhooked and back in the water fast enough

I just got home from Burke (Sunday). They were still crushing bait at the lower end of the lake. I got four nice ones before it shut down. Lost a really good one beside the yak that would have probably gone 20". Soooooo much fun!

I was there this morning and caught 3 bass using a zoom magnum trick worm, over on the campground side.

Man, you are good at fishing. I starting fishing this yearly and I suck at it. I went to Burke lake the other day. All was losing all the fish which were biting. I appreciate your hard work buddy.... New subscriber 😊

funny most videos i see of animals with rabies they seem to be confused and having trouble just functioning i wouldnt think a beaver with rabies would be very good at swimming. Guess it really depends how far into the infection they are too.

This looks a really cool area to fish and an awesome trip. We are super lucky as Virginians to have access to so many waterways.

Beaver are really territorial, so it may not have had rabies. Might have had young in a den near by.

Do you drive in main entrance for access? I’ve been reluctant to go early because I thought the park opened at 7?
