Back to Amsterdam onboard P&O Ventura ...Part 2

- So after the excitement of watching England beat Holland in the Euros semi final , actually berthed in Amsterdam , it was time to head ashore .
We took in the sites , the Red light district , the Anne Frank House and Museum , and of course ended up on another canal cruise .
On returning to the ship we all got ready for formal evening , the plan being to meet in our room to take some photos on the balcony overlooking the cruise port .
We managed to get a table in the MDR, something we had been worried about because of the size of our group .Everyone in our party seemed to enjoy the meal and the children were well catered for .
We sailed away from Amsterdam later that evening , it made a nice change to leave port at night and see the city all lit up .
Our last full day onboard started with breakfast , then a little bit of packing which Pearl actually helped with .unfortunately i had hurt my back and was suffering a little bit . We then all met up at the covered pool area , I took the opportunity to have a bit of time in the hot tub before going to the Sauna to try and ease my back a little .The grandkids spent a bit of time in the pool before deciding it was far too cold for them , the water was actually freezing .
That evening we had another meal in the MDR before we headed to our usual spot the Havana lounge where we saw the group the Privateers , very good they were too .
Next morning we were up early to have breakfast before disembarking the ship in Southampton . So our family mini cruise was at an end , and going by everyone's reactions it seemed like it was a success

Firstly, we will watch the vlog later, but needed to say how wonderful it was to meet you both, people who follow this channel, in real life they are just as wonderful, if not more.

Another great episode, loved looking around Amsterdam, it’s great for a wander and a canal boat ride. You all looked so glamorous on Celebration night, shame Pearl lost yet another pair of shoes and handbag, do you think she is deliberately sabotaging them to get some new stuff? 😂 Shame the pools were so cold for the kids, they need to put the heating on. I hope your back got better quick, nothing worse than being in pain on holiday. Loved listening to the Privateers band, so good. Happy Birthday Pearl, what lovely family memories ❤

Those Pools were absolutely freezing, and the hot tubs were full of older teens. My back has improved thank you very much , I’m sure it’s lugging Pearls clothes and shoes around that’s caused it .Privateers are so good one of our favourites. My back is much better thank you, it’s a problem that flares up every now and then . Carrying Pearls shoes doesn’t do it any good though.😂. I’m sure you have done a great job with the packing, I expect Andrew’s clothes will be on the bottom getting all creased up and your dresses will be nicely folded on top 😂.
The Son in law did the tee shirt for a joke but I have worn it in Palma.
La Coruna was great , as was Palma , our trip in La Spezia was cancelled due to the weather forecast. So we just got off and walked around the town , it was a much better and nicer place than I was expecting. Then the heavens opened, we got drenched still drying stuff out now . Hi A&J , thank you , and yes the children were well behaved, it was Pearl that had to be told off .😂.We did our best for Celebration night , of course Pearl had to break something. Our son said Pearls friend had the shoes for twenty years and Pearl had them for twenty minutes 😂. My back is feeling better thank you , it’s a problem I was born with, and as you suffer as well Amanda then you know how debilitating it can be . We have never been on Celebrity , it's on our to do list . Royal Caribbean was the first ever cruise line we sailed on . We have sailed twice with them , but quite a few years ago now . Grandeur of the seas , and Independence of the seas, both getting on a bit now .

I only respond to content that I've experienced personally, your trying to make money from a mini cruise, that hundreds of thousands have experienced I commend many people on many videos. @@stevexnand I also pay for my internet, but I don’t understand why you would leave a negative comment when you already said the same thing on the previous video. It makes it seems like it really bothers you and comes across a little strange. If you care to look through the channel there are plenty of other cruises they have been on which might be a bit more suited to you. Amsterdam may not be a ‘big deal’ to you, but it was a lovely family trip for us, so I’m very sorry it did not float your boat (see what I did there ;-)) Also not sure what making money has got to do with it.

We are on P&O Arvia at the moment, so you know what that means…. More videos 😱😱 . It would be great if the whole world saw them , then I would be raking it in . We don’t know if you watch or just see the title and then put your comments. Anyway any comments good or bad all help our channel so thank you . There are no videos for the next few weeks but if you get withdrawal symptoms then please feel free to comment on some of our older ones , I’m sure you will find something to comment on .
