Great video as norma! Really good information the food in the speciality restaurants looked good apart from the beef Wellington ! The buffet restaurants looked hell on earth to be honest.
@@ALifeintheParks No Problem, Your voice is very informative but calming at the same time, just to let you know mate, your voice is very relaxing also, keep it up mate 😃
Thank you for this video! Planning to go on a short cruise amsterdam and it’s Ventura. As a first timer this is very helpful. I guess we will eat once in a buffet just to try it out and the rest will be in saffron and cinnamon since they are included in our cruise.😂 Thank you
I enjoyed my trip to Amsterdam on this ship last summer and I think it’s the perfect size for a first timer. I’ll be uploading my ship tour soon. The buffet is small but it’s definitely worth trying and the Main Dining Restaurants are good choices. I hope you have a great time 👍
Hey guys! We are seeing lots of P&O Stuff at the moment! We generally go for main dining room but want to start going to more fine dining and speciality restaurants. Looks very good so thank you for sharing! Have a great weekend, Pete & Lisa 👍
I find the speciality dining on P&O to be very reasonable and the food and experience are great. If you like Indian cuisine I can’t recommend Sindhu enough, it’s exceptional. And the MDR has a good variety of options and the food is usually pretty good. Many thanks for watching and commenting and I hope you both have a great weekend too.
Ouu...we love upscale experiences!😊 The cucumber mojito looks so good! Steaks are my favorite, except for pasta! Lol All the entrees looked fantastic. Dude, I'm seriously gaining weight just seeing all this!😂 And then Ice cream and cookies, too?.....mmmm...lol Always a pleasure seeing and hearing your reviews, Bud. Thank you very much!👍
It's all so good! The best side for pasta is a steak! Many thanks, there was so much great food on this cruise. Thankfully I did a lot of walking trying to burn those calories off 😂😂 Many thanks for watching, commenting and all your support 👍
We went on Ventura 2 years and the food was awful in the MDR. Probably the worse we have had consistently on any cruise. But still we have just booked a short cruise back on her in February so it’s good to hear the food has improved. So looking forward to it already.
@@richardparmenter188 I’m sorry to hear that, what do you think the problem was? Was this shortly after cruising restarted? If you can I’d recommend the speciality dining if you’re not tried that. Are you off to Amsterdam? That’s where I went and had a great time, I stayed onboard the first night and had the ship pretty much to myself 😂
@ we did Sindu on Ventura and have tried all the other options on Iona. We love the beach house so happy to see that is now on Ventura. We sailed on her in 2022. Oddly half way through the cruise we were told mask wearing was to be enforced. And yes, overnight in Amsterdam. 🥳
@ If there’s the Sindhu Tiffin lunch is available that’s quite special. I’m pleased that those mask wearing days are in the past. I’ll have my Amsterdam trip vlogs up in the not too distant future, I hope your trip is as good as mine was 🤞
Many thanks, I just got back from there yesterday after sailing with Marella. The weather was perfect. Ventura is a great ship, I hope you have a fantastic time.
Looks like the speciality restaurant portions are substantially larger than the MDR ones. Having said that, I agree with your comments on the Azura video, that you didn't feel empty after an MDR eal. 🙂
Definitely, although that’s probably because you’re paying extra for those meals. There’s more than enough food in the MDR but if you’re feeling a little peckish later then there’s always the buffet 👍 Many thanks for watching and commenting, I’m grateful for your support.
@@ALifeintheParks I agree! And you can order extra in the MDR too. Have more than one dish, ask for a double portion, a dish of veg, extra bread etc. 👍🏻
@LibbyRoseEmbroidery Funny you should say that, at the Epicurean we asked for an additional main to share between the 3 of us and we were told that we couldn’t have it!!
We would probably avoid the buffet completely and go for the room service. The one cruise we went on, we had to eat at the buffet for breakfast and the room was so small.
@@AnaheimParkTourist I generally prefer being served my food rather than going to the buffet but when it’s this small I try to avoid it altogether. Which was a bit of a shame as the actual food was pretty good.
The Epicurian looks like a lovely restaurant, I love a Ribeye, but charred on the outside and med inside just to be awkward, the desserts looked delicious. I'm going to miss having a choice of places to eat on Arcadia, although its a port intensive cruise so in reality I'm sure it won't be a problem. I love the look the Beach House too. The breakfast looked spot on. A great review as always.
I believe our American friends describe steak cooked that way as Pittsburg style. If you enjoy Indian inspired food then Sindu is incredible and that’s available on Arcadia. The P&O breakfast is a classic and highly recommended and I do also enjoy the Eggs Benedict too. Many thanks for watching and commenting, I really appreciate the support 👍
The food was terrible ,like school dinners and always just warm.Very let down by the whole food experience on this ship..Sticking to RC ships for great food .Won't sail with P&O again .
That’s very interesting as while the buffet on Anthem of the Seas was great the food in the MDR’s wasn’t up to much. I felt as if I was being pushed to pay for speciality dining on Royal Caribbean.
Many thanks for watching, if you enjoyed it please give it a thumbs up and if you haven't already, please subscribe to keep in the loop on upcoming videos
