P&O IONA CRUISE VLOG 4.. MADEIRA, CANARY ISLES, SPAIN, PORTUGAL...TENERIFE, SILENT DISCO ..

- We arrived in Tenerife on the morning of 23rd March 2023 in the port of Santa Cruz .This being our first visit back to Tenerife in almost 30 years .
We arrived to a warm and sunny day.
As we had no excursions booked our plan was to explore on foot the town of Santa Cruz.
After exploring the main part of the town and stopping for a Coffee, we noticed signs for the Garcia Sanabria park .This was a lovely area of Santa Cruz that is well worth a visit , with lots of fountains and trees and plants ,and of course somewhere to get a glass of wine .
After enjoying Santa Cruz we headed back to the ship for a bit of lunch, and then spent time at the Sunset Bar enjoying the beautiful weather.
In the evening we had another Silent Disco in the main Atrium that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Just watched this one again and realised ive wrote the wrong comment to the wrong vlog 😳 what a doughnut ! 🍩 😅. It's because i watch at night after work when everyone is abed 😅 and sometimes i fall asleep and so sorry about that 😅😮. The park looked beautiful in tenerife. And it's werid watching the silent disco but fun will definitely be trying that on iona 😊😊😊😊😊take care from A&J ( dopey and sleepy 😴 lol 😆 ❤
Don’t Worry about it Amanda, we have been known to send many people to sleep 🛌 🤣😂. I know what it’s like , I did shift work for 42 years and when you come home you need to unwind before bed . The park was a bonus we came across that by luck . As for the silent disco , it’s a lot of fun , worth having a go . Now get yourself off to bed 🤣😂 XX ❤️

We were on the same cruise. We went on a trip to Puerto de la Cruz. We honeymooned there 41 years ago and managed to find the hotel we stayed in.

The beauty of a March booking is that those pesky kids hogging the Jacuzzis and deck chairs are not there.
Exactly, we were just on a mini cruise to Amsterdam with our Grandkids. Most of the Hot tubs were full of teenagers who occupied them for ages . Or small children who used them to play in . We must be getting old 😂🤣
