omg same i had all A’s throughout high school but sophomore year’s grades tanked my gpa and i had a C in algebra two and 3 B’s. I’m applying to UCSC and i’m really hoping i get in! this video helped a lot!
I've already graduated from college with a bachelors degree but I've still been watching your college videos because it's interesting to me for some reason. It's cool to see how much more competitive certain colleges are and how serious college applications can be in other regions. I don't know if it was just me or my city or Michigan in general, but college applications never seemed this competitive. Idk, I just think it's interesting to compare it to how competitive college apps can be in say Cali or NY. Anyway, this was an interesting / informative video. I hope you enjoy college when you go!

Class of 21. & Honestly sis same me and math have had a very long love hate relationship since elementary school, it's always been my one B. I'm excited to find out where you're going, I'm sure you'll do great no matter where you go
Zainab O. Thank you! Once I realized math wasn’t my thing and stopped taking the APs for math it became a lot easier to grasp and I started getting A’s. That’s so cool that you’re doing poli sci too! I don’t find that many people at my school doing it :)

I had a similar SAT experience. Took test prep, studied a lot because of my low score, and still not getting the score I wanted lol. Congrats on college and graduating!
I don’t know, but I think the hardest classes I’m taking next year is Trig/Analytic Geometry, AP Chem, AP Gov and Physics. Oh wait I forgot, I’m actually taking Statistics and Bio this summer at a college
Dude how did you get rejected from those UCs? You’re like a complete model student outside of your SAT, and you said you’re a really good writer and tied your essays together really well

I have a 3.77 weighted but by the end of this year it should go up to like a 3.8/3.9 but I'm taking 6 APS next year and this year I'm taking two. Freshman year I took AP human and got a 5 on the exam. I'm in DECA, FBLA, Track, and basketball, I also did MakerBot competition freshman year. I've been getting more interested in art and science so I'm not sure what ecs to do. I wanna do some type of project or research but idk how

as long as you have a good SAT and GPA u should be fine, I spent so much time writing my PIQs bcuz my stats were a little lower than the ucs average and I got rejected by almost all, a peer of mine however had 4.2 and 1300+ SAT scores and did their PIQs in a day and got into almost all of the ucs including ucla, so make sure ur stats are at least the average of the ucs bcuz stats plays a huge role
