Your high school life sounds exhausting. The only AP class i took in high school was physics and I got a D because i never did homework and showed up a half hour late every day. I graduated with a 3.0, and went to community college for 3 years and worked my butt off to get over a 3.9 and just got accepted to transfer to UCLA for engineering.

Hello! There was a space limit for how many extracurriculars we could put down so I chose the ones I was most proud of, not necessarily the ones i spent most time on, but the ones i was proud of were also ones i did for a couple years. I hope this helps! 😊😊

If you're applying via Common App, there are spaces to put your Activity 1, 2, etc. Same goes for the UC schools! They will give you spaces to fill out each activity!
My dad said I can only get into UCLA if I get a full ride....How do I do that? I heard that they only use that to lure students in....what do I need to do to get that? Edit: My grades isn't all A's and B's...rn i have like 1-2 C
UCLA doesn't give a lot of scholarships because it is a public school. Grades (esp. now during the pandemic) aren't everything, make sure you have really strong essays that communicate who you are as a person, and try not to do every extracurricular possible. do ones that you're interested in, and that you can really succeed in.
Full rides are very hard to achieve and Public schools don’t give out a lot of full rides. You have to get scholarships if you can prove you are not able to pay the full tuition. I recommend you try and start something over the pandemic(like a business or project) to impress colleges. Ive seen many people get full rides to Drexel in Philadelphia though
when you were in highschool did you have a job, if so what year of high school did you start working? I’m an incoming freshman and i plan on working at a local tennis shop once i get my working papers. What is your opinion on working as a teen?
I did not have a job throughout high school. I did have internships, but they were unpaid. I did them mostly for the experience of it. I think having a job as a teen is a really good way to gain lots of experience and skills outside of school, and if you believe you can balance your time, I say go for it!
