    Had to work at school today, so I got up at 4:30 am to catch the first half and finished the second half after getting home. It was worth it because you are THAT GOOD! Beautiful bag!

    Great bag but I think I would adjust the front pocket pattern and omit the handles. Love cross body bags.

    I haven't watched in full yet but you could also do the back pattern on both sides and have a really cool and completely different bag.

    Another beautiful bag? Do you think I could use thickish vinyl front, back and for connectors like the vinyl you used in the Bellezza Bag video (but using quilting cotton for front pocket accent) or would it make the bag too structured?

    • @SiahSwag
      @SiahSwag  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you could.. as long as your machine can handle the thickness

    Thak you for the video! But I have a question. Sometimes I don’t understand why there are both shorter “handbag” straps and a crossbody strap. I like that you made it removable! I really don’t care for a bag that has both. I think it’s awkward to be using the crossbody strap and having the other handles just hanging there in the way. I prefer one or the other, just not both. I’m probably the only one in the world that feels that way. If I make this bag, I would probably lengthen the handles and omit the crossbody strap all together. Just MHO……

    I am just about to start sewing the Isolina...got all my pieces cut out today :). I am wondering if you have advice for making the bag sturdier using flex foam and how to install the strap connectors instead of swivel hooks that you mention. Any directions on how to do that?

      I’m not sure but I think it can totally be done.

    What is the (awesome) wooden punch tool you used for rivet holes in this video??

    • @joyfully_living
      @joyfully_living 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a Japanese hole punch. You can find it on Amazon.

    I love this bag! You do a great job in your videos! I do have a quick question. I have two things of vinyl from Bo Dee OH that I have been saving for myself! One is a solid and another is a print. They go together and are both pretty drapy, not too bad but they are not stiff vinyl. I had planned to add some Woven interfacing to them depending on what bag I chose. My question is, if I choose to use on this bag, could I use the print vinyl for the front pocket accent that you used the cotton canvas with Woven. The print vinyl is pretty drapy so I thought it might be thin enough to use instead of the cotton canvas. I am worried that it might be too much to use the vinyl instead of a cotton. I have a Juki TL-2010Q machine and probably a advanced beginner or new intermediate. Been doing bags for alittle over a year. Made from purses to a few backpacks. Wanting to use those fabrics for an everyday bag for myself! Thanks for your help! I need a medium size bag that will hold my NCW wallet and my diabetic testing kit I have to carry all the time. Thank you!

    • @SiahSwag
      @SiahSwag  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! I think it would be just fine with the front piece in that vinyl, just be sure to keep all interfacing out of your seam allowances and you should be good to go! Thanks for the support and kind words! 😊

      Great!! Thank you! I love the vinyl and I have enough to make two bags, so definitely like this one and I have already bought the Martini bag that you did a live video on too, but either way I will definitely make this bag too! Great job on all the tips and tricks! Love all your videos!

    Are you using the different sized rivets as called for in the pattern?

    • @SiahSwag
      @SiahSwag  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      mostly 9mm

    • @janicemcnulty8443
      @janicemcnulty8443 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SiahSwag I believe the pattern instructions changed slightly since you made this where the back connector is punched through all the layers (lining included). If you choose to do it your way, do you think a larger rivet is needed at all? Or could I get away with 9mm throughout?

    not domestic or beginner friendly lol , i think it would look more balanced if they had those pockets on both sides just seems strange it up on one side and down on the other, which would also make the gap between the top of the handles and the main body different, so would be better with a longer strap, sorry just my opinion, lovely bag though, and you do make beautiful bags Siah, thanks for the video

    • @SiahSwag
      @SiahSwag  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was suppose to rivet the back handles one more up on the handle through the whole bag, so the handles would be even. It was changed after the fact in the pattern. That way it looks more even

    • @suzys4316
      @suzys4316 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SiahSwag oh the handles were even kassiah, it just looked like there was more room on the back than the front if you were using it as a shoulder bag, it wasnt you its just the pattern looks odd with the front panel being higher than the back I love the bag you made
