I use the pointy end of embroidery scissors to hold my binding. I had a stiletto and it didn’t last long. The embroidery scissors cost much less than the stiletto!!

Ok for dummies like me, when you use white lining please say if you are using the front or the back lol.....I just put the slip pocket on the wrong side. I guess I should follow the pattern as well but I get into it and just listen to the video sometimes. :)
Hi Siah, Just wondering what the reason was for the way the zipper was done on one of the Lining pieces. What was this suppose to do, give a short cut, etc? I feel that was just weird doing it that way. Please explain, Thanking you in advance. RC

I like to use a thread zapper to cut and melt off my threads.

What kind of light do you have on the top of your machine? I’ve had different ones over the last few years that fit on the back, or under the arm. None lasted long and I need the room under the arm to make bags. Thanks.
It came with my machine, but I know they offer the same type of light on Amazon

They are pre cut, on a roll from amazon. When folded it is 1/2 in wide.

I love your tutorials! How can I make the Zenaida backpack a little bigger. My daughter is in dance and wants the backpack for her 🩰. But she would like the backpack a little bigger.
I would start by printing the pattern at 110%, but not sure how that would all print out. I don’t have a ton of experience in enlarging many patterns.
