    I’m making one this week with a fun turn lock from Sew Dulce so I’ll have to post to show it off.

    Honestly I can’t sleep so I decided to watch your video on this pattern, and although I wasn’t too keen on the pattern to start with, I love your colour combo and your bag turned out beautiful!

    I prefer to leave the stitch length the same from topstitching to basting.

    I do the split slip pocket frequently for two reasons, 1) to make more frugal usage of custom vinyl or fabric used on exterior and 2) to make pocket more slick when using a backing vinyl that’s sticky. And I use same stitch length for top stitch and baste on my juki tl18qvp

    Hi Lauren, just wanted to thank you for how much I am learning from watching you make all of these fabulous bags. I knit and crochet 🧶 and like to make my own project bags. The more I watch you the better they are turning out. Love the back pack your putting together. Thank you!

    I like "innie" and "outie" for describing the magnetic snaps (and stuff like that), rather than M and F.

    Lauren I have bought the pattern... But just wondering what you think it would work to do a oval or rectangular bottom?

    • @LaurenMormino
      @LaurenMormino  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm you might be able to come up with a squared bottom but the circle bottom is such a large size it isn’t too bad!!

    To answer your top stitch question....I do not change the stitch length when going from top stitch to baste. No one sees those baste stitches...so....who cares!! Thats my philosophy.

    Lauren, I love this bag and your color choices. I went right out and bought it, these designers are soooo lucky when you choose their patterns.

    I don't know how everyone uses the vinyl on those tiny rolls I buy my vinyl 45 to 55 inches high by how many yards I want , making a lot of bags that is the only practical way for me to buy .. the only down fall is the tiny rolls have more designs than buying they way I do .
    I do love Lauren's rolled vinyl there the best designs

    I don’t like calling the snaps male and female either so I started referring to them as the innie and outie like a belly button.
